It was a normal day at Karakura High. It really WAS normal for (Y/N).

She sat alone on her desk, not saying a word to anyone, until Rukia and Ichigo arrived.

"Yo, (Y/N). Why so down in the dumps today?" teased Ichigo.

Rukia sighed and smacked Ichigo, making him land face-first at Uryū's desk.

"(Y/N), I heard that we're getting a new student from a foreign area. Treat him well, okay?"

(Y/N) simply nodded. Rukia went to her desk whilst dragging the unconscious Ichigo with her. (You sit beside Ishida, btw.)

(Y/N) suddenly tapped Uryū's shoulder because something was bothering her.

"Hey, Ishida-kun. Why do I have to deal with the new student?" asked (Y/N).

"You were assigned to show him around Karakura High. Be considered lucky because this adds points to your Homeroom grade." he deadpanned.

Before the young lady could protest, she was cut off by Ms. Ochi entering the room.

The students went back to their seats as Ms. Ochi grabbed her attendance chart from the drawers.

"Alright, class! We have a new student! Ulqui-san, you may enter now!" she said.

A young man with chin-length, raven black hair and green eyes entered the room. He had white pale skin, to finish his somewhat unique look.

It was Ulquiorra Cifer, former 4th Espada.

Ichigo, Rukia, Orihime, Chad, Uryū, and (Y/N) were shocked to see the sight in front of them.

'Wasn't he supposed to be dead after Ichigo defeated him?' (Y/N) thought.

"My name is Ulquiorra Cifer and I'm pleased to meet you all. Hope we can get along." he introduced himself in a simple way.

The class had burst into an uproar after he introduced himself. Statements like 'How did he get the emo getup?' or 'He looks kinda creepy, but cute in a way.' have been heard.

Ms. Ochi noticed this and cleared her throat to silence the class.

"(L/N)-san, kindly show Ulqui-san around and make sure he gets a nice stay here at Karakura High." Ms. Ochi politely ordered.

The introvert stood up from her seat and simply nodded. She gave a humble bow to the former Espada, as a sign of respect. 'Okay, this is honestly awkward.' you thought to yourself.

Thankfully, Ms. Ochi clapped her hands once to clear the awkward tension in the classroom and started to check the attendance.

Ulquiorra was assigned to sit next to you, to make matters worse.

"OCHI-SENSEI!! WHY DOES ULQUIORRA GET TO SIT BESIDE (Y/N)-CHAN?!" complained Keigo.

The teacher simply gave Keigo a glare that gave him the chills.

He then took his seat, not saying a word.

(Y/N) decided to clear the tension.

"Hi. Name's (Y/N). I'm gonna show you around so take it easy."

"Woman, you are one of Kurosaki Ichigo's so-called 'comrades', am I right?" he asked, ignoring your statement.

''Yeah, I am. But you're pretty much a good guy now since Ichigo defeated you and your remaining reiatsu turned you to a human, and that's that." you clarified.

He nodded.

Showing Ulquiorra around was fun for (Y/N), and classes are over for today.

He was smart, and knew a lot of things about the world of the living. He just didn't want to mention it.

"Thank you for showing me around, woman. Let's go home now."

(Y/N) nodded.

He surprisingly took the girl's hand, and took it in his.

She was shocked at first, but later on went with it.

They reached (Y/N)'s house by a flash. Ulquiorra let go of her hand, and put his hands in his pockets.

"Thanks for bringing me home, Ulqui." you said.

"It's thanks for showing me around. See you tomorrow."

You watched him as he left, not taking your eyes off him.

'I think I just gained a new crush..'
