Hermione's POV

Harry managed to get on the quidditch team. I already knew, but it just dawned on me how dangerous quidditch really is.

Personally, I'd like to try. I think I would be an okay chaser, but it wouldn't be very fair, as my demigod reflexes would go overkill.

Here's what happened.

Ron and I were sitting with Neville in the stands. Neville was silently freaking out to Drake and I via bracelet link.

So anyways, Harry was actually doing pretty good. He was staying out of the way, and not getting into trouble.

But naturally, all good things come to an end. He saw the snitch, and dove to get it. The other seeker saw too, and chased after him. Eventually, the Slytherin captain bumped into Harry. Madame Hooch called a foul, and the snitch was lost again.

Harry's broom started jerking around, trying to throw him off. I recognized it as a jinx immediately. That's when I saw Professor Quirrel. He gives me a bad feeling, especially that turban of his.

It was obvious that he was jinxing the broom. Ron pointed out Snape, and believe it or not, Snape was actually trying to save Harry.

I told Ron and Neville that I had it handled, and ran off. I knocked over Quirrel, so his eye contact broke. I then decided to get one over Snape, and set fire to his robes. Believe me, it felt great.

I was running back, when the idiot falls off of his broom, nearly swallowing the freaking snitch. I thought I would have to protect him from monsters, but nooo. I'm going to have to stop him from chocking on his pizza.

I apparently thought through the bracelet, because I could see Neville and Draco trying so hard not to laugh.

"Yup. We're babysitting an eleven year old." Draco snorted through the connection.

I made it back to Ron and Neville. Neville and I tried our very hardest not to laugh, but a small giggle slipped out. Ron obviously brushed it off as a celebratory laugh.
