"So what's the plans today?" I ask Grayson throwing myself down next to him on the sofa

"Nothing" he states continuing to stare down at a box, paying no attention to me.

"Oh"

"Sorry, got somewhere I need to be" he snaps disappearing from the room before I could even think of a reply.

I sigh and lay my head against the couch, letting my eyes shut.

Grayson POV:
"Ah well now you have a girl that will actually listen to what you want" The man chuckles, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

I glare at him, causing terror to flash through his eyes.

For a 174 year old vampire, he's a baby. Only gotta stare into his ugly grey orbs and he's shuffling uncomfortably, fear lacing his voice.

"Watch yourself Keith" Ethan snarls stepping out into the dimly lit room "he's not actually in love with her"

Love. Is that what I'm feeling? Do I- no I don't, you don't love her Grayson. You can't.

"-ght gray?" I hear and I'm snapped from my daze

"Huh?" I ask raising an eyebrow

"If he doesn't want her, I'll happily bring her ass back to my crib. She can be the mama to our ch-"

Before I could process what I was doing, the mans lifeless body dropped to the floor and everyone's eyes was on me, waiting for my next move.

"Gr-"

"WHAT?" I shout kicking a chair over glaring at the person who dared call my name.

Ethan.

"Don't raise your voice to me, I could easily kill that girl" he whispers but it's at a volume so high I feel anger rising in the pit of my stomach.

"IF YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT LAYING ONE BREATH ON HER, I PROMISE IT WILL BE YOUR LAST" I growl and he steps back a little.

I didn't bother saying anything else, just disappeared into the black atmosphere.

Alexa POV:
I hear the front door slam open and I quickly jump off the sofa to meet eyes with Grayson.

"I-" he pushes past me so I follow him into the kitchen "Gray, I need to tell you some-"

"I'm not in the mood" he grunts, ripping open a bag of blood

"Clearly" I pause, his eyes grow dark as he stares at me and I shift from foot to foot "ya know I'm gonna tell you anyway"

"Hmmm"

"I- well you're hot" I mumble "and I rea-" before I could finish my sentence, my back was pressed tightly against the wall and Grayson was staring deeply into my soul.

"You're gorgeous too, alexa" he purred, causing butterflies to erupt in the pit of my stomach. He leans his face closer to mine and my breathing gets trapped, I can feel my heart beating out of my chest and I wait.

"I'll see you in the morning" he eventually says breaking the silence, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. He lifts his weight from me and turns on his heels exiting the room, leaving me disappointed and alone.

"You too" I mumble to myself, slouching against the door frame.
