Eclipse sighed. They had been in the cells long enough, why couldn't they just serve their punishment and leave? His broken leg still lay at an awkward angle by his tail, which hung limply of of the ledge he sat on.

"Why don't they let us out?" He questioned his older sister, Destruction.

Just then, a gruff voice sounded from the passage. "Because, we had to find you a punishment. And we have it. Get out."

It was one of the ScorchWing guards, one that they could tell apart by his split tail. It was Phoenix, the one that all prisoners knew to fear. He was the head of the prison guards and also served as a lieutenant in Queen Flare's army. They had been captured for 'assault of royalty', or- attacking the Queen just for fun. Phoenix had broken Eclipse' leg and tail to show his siblings what would happened to them, then dragged them into this god-forbidden cave.

"There they are, Your Majesty. The attackers. When shall we fulfill their punishment?"

"Soon Phoenix, soon. First we must identify and weaken them." Queen Flare glanced at them, then looked back at the guard and they resumed their conversation.

Neither ScorchWing noticed as Eclipse carefully slid a claw down his leg, praying it would draw blood. It did, and the wound immediately closed. He felt his leg begin to straighten but continued to hold it behind him, hoping he could fool the enemy. They never looked back at him, not before Bone saw it and stepped in front of his brother.

"Well, we considered many punishments, but heavens- assault on royalty! Such dangerous dragonets shall not be spared." The Queen glared at them from the other end of the room. "Come, let me tell you what we have decided on."

Eclipse gulped and looked at his older siblings for reassurance. The nodded and pretended to help him walk, Eclipse dragging his tail and leg behind him. They reached the other side and the Queen began to circle them.

"Let's see... One, Two, Three, little killers. One, two, three little death sentences. Phoenix! Bring them to their cave. They shall be thrown to the beast tomorrow."
