I published the new book" Entwined Hearts". Try it out and let me know how is the story.

In the quietness of the nearly deserted roads, Ishita drove in silence, while Rishab, from the backseat, observed her, pondering the depth of the rift between them.

Ishita, puzzled, pulled over as the police officer signalled, wondering about the unexpected interruption during the silent night drive.

As soon as she stopped, she slid the glass of the car.

" Miss. We are raiding all vehicles on this way for the drugs transport as we got the information from the sources. Please cooperate..." He informed her.

" Please get down..." He added further.

Ishita, surprised by the unexpected turn of events, complied with the officer's instructions and stepped out of the car, curious and slightly anxious about the situation. Then Rishab also got down from the car as he couldn't let her go alone.

The policeman, scrutinising Rishab's face, inquired about their destination and the nature of their relationship, adding an unexpected layer of scrutiny to the already tense atmosphere.

Rishab, protective and determined, declared Ishita as his wife, but Ishita, with a silent glare, conveyed her discomfort with the sudden display of affection, adding complexity to the encounter with the policeman.

The policeman sensed something was wrong between them.

" What is the proof! " He asked.

Rishab, quick to provide evidence, displayed their wedding photo from his wallet as proof, attempting to address the policeman's inquiry and dispel any doubts about their relationship.

" But my police eyes sensed something wrong between you! " He doubted.

Rishab gave a small smile and said, " What should I say! She wants me to take her on a trip. As I was rejected from taking her, she was angry at me..." He replied.

“Both of you look like a newly married couple. What is wrong if your wife asks you to take you on a trip? Husband should consider the wife's request..." He suggested.

Rishab, opening up to the policeman, revealed that he also desired to take Ishita on a trip, but medical advice against travelling had become a hindrance in fulfilling that wish.

“ Why?” The policeman asked curiously.

" She is pregnant. For the safety of the baby, I denied. Instead of understanding my true intentions. She is very angry at me..." He lied.

Ishita was speechless with his lies. She glared at him, gritting her teeth. She wanted to strangle his neck for telling lies but she didn't want to make a fuss on the road.

" During pregnancy, women usually have mood swings..." The policeman stated, looking at Ishita. She felt so uncomfortable by his words and glared at Rishab.

" Dear... Let your husband drive. You can take some rest..." He advised the policeman.

She walked away from them as her anger reached its height.

Acknowledging Ishita's discomfort, Rishab took the wheel, expressing gratitude to the policeman. As he settled into the driver's seat, he couldn't ignore Ishita's evident displeasure, aware that he had added another layer of complexity to their already strained situation.

He drove the car from that place. But from the corner of his eyes, he could see her tightened fist.

“ Stop the car…” she screamed and looked at Rishab with fire in her eyes. Instantly he pressed the brake and stopped the car to the side of the road.

“ How dare you touch me! Huh! “ She fisted his shirt.

“ How could you lie that I am pregnant! “ she yelled.

"Listen, I... I didn't mean to lie," Rishab stammered, his voice filled with genuine remorse.

Her grip on his shirt tightened, and tears welled up in her eyes. "Do you think lying about something as significant as this is going to bring us closer?" she cried, her voice tinged with both anger and sadness.

"Trust is the foundation of any relationship, and you betrayed that trust." She said.

"I know, I screwed up," he admitted, his voice filled with regret. "I should have communicated better, discussed our hopes and dreams instead of leaving you earlier. I'm so sorry."

She let go of his shirt, the anger in her eyes slowly fading into sadness.

“ I will never forgive you. You made fun of my love and my feelings…” she said with tears.

“ Give one chance, Ishu. I know that you still have feelings for me…” he pleaded, holding her hands.
