Four hours later, the hockey game is about to start. The tour is long over and Phoenix has gone to refresh himself, including eating and getting in a nice pre-game nap session. The members of Hydrangea are getting ready by getting their mics on.

Jiyoung and Misun are preparing to get situated in their special seating, behind the home bench and within view of center ice, where Hydrangea will stand and sing the anthem. A silver and black carpet has been rolled out for them, so they (Hakhwa, mostly) don't have to worry about slipping on the ice.

Phoenix and five others stand along a blue line with their helmets off and tucked under their arms. The rest of the team stands in the bench area, leaning against their hockey sticks. A few staff members are also within the benches.

The other team, displaying a dolphin with a broken hockey stick near its mouth, follow the same lineup setting.

"This is so exciting! It's my first hockey game!" Misun shouts out.

Suddenly, the announcer booms out over a loudspeaker, "WELCOME TO OPENING NIGHT, STARS FANS!! May I kindly ask everyone present to stand, remove your hats and sing along to the national anthem with some very special guests from South Korea! Put your hands together and give a warm welcome to k-pop sensation...HYDRANGEA!"

The crowd buzzes with an electrified noise that TV doesn't do justice for.

Spotlights shine on the six members standing on the carpet at center ice. A camera person on skates is moving around to get them for a TV broadcast.

Kino and Seokwan share a look with one another.

Then Youngjo opens his mouth and launches into the anthem, singing out: "Oh,
say,
can
you
see,"

He is quickly backed up by a wondrous rocky chorus of backup vocals from the others: "by
the
dawn's
early
light."

Seokwan picks up singing, "What
so
proudly
we
hail'd
at
the
twilight's
last
gleaming?"

Shinkwan and Jaehwa harmonize to sing, "Whose
broad
stripes
and
 bright
stars,"

Once more they all come to together to sing in unison: "thro'
the
perilous
fight,"

Kino sings out, "O'er
the
ramparts
we
watch'd,
were
so
gallantly
streaming?"

Hakhwa sings the next line in a glorious falsetto: "And
the
rockets'
red
glare,
the
bombs
bursting
in
air,"

Shinkwan sings the next line: "Gave
proof
thro'
the
night
that
our
flag
was
still
there."

In unison, the group finishes, singing out, "O
say,
does
that
star‐spangled
banner
yet
wave
 O'er
the
land
of
the
free
and
the
home
of
the
brave?"

When they finish, the crowd roars with cheers and all the members smile and wave. The lights flood on, illuminating the ice. The players launch off their blue lines and skate around.

Phoenix, strapping on his helmet, skates around and comes up to Youngjo. "Good job guys!"

"Thanks!" they all respond as ice personnel and arena staff help to usher them off and roll up the carpet and get things off the ice.

"We'll catch up after the game! Everyone come to the locker room!" Phoenix says and then skates off to chat with his linemates.

"Good game, Phoenix!" all the Hydrangea members, led by Hakhwa, call out as they leave the ice and are quickly followed by the staff and helpers.

All within ten minutes, the ice is cleared, Hydrangea is seated with Jiyoung and Misun and the puck is dropped with Phoenix winning the draw.

After the game, they all head to the locker room as told. The Stars won 4-1, with the game-winning-goal scored by Phoenix.

Phoenix, smiling, greets them and comes over at once. "Well, what did you all think?"

"IT WAS AMAZING! I like hockey now!" Misun exclaims with a boisterous voice.

"Yeah, it might beat out soccer," Shinkwan remarks, smirking.

Phoenix turns to give his full and genuine attention to Jiyoung. "Hey, look, I'm sorry if I was a little misleading earlier. I was thinking about what I said and how I was acting towards you and it might have come across as flirting somewhat. But I know you're married and taken and that was not my intent."

Jiyoung smiles and nods. "It did seem like that, but thank you."

"But, if you ever find yourself single again, just know I'll remain single and waiting for you." He gives her a flirtatious, knowing wink and then walks off from her, returning to his celebrating buddies and the media personnel that have arrived to interview him (as well as them).

Jiyoung chuckles.

Kino elbows her. "Kang Sanggyu is a lucky man. Let's get back home to Korea."
