Milo Davidson only ever wondered one thing: who are you?

Since he was twelve years old, Milo had been at camp half-blood every summer of his life. It's kind of funny how his mother didn't even know. If she did, maybe it could be of some help. Maybe he'd know who his father was, and he finally wouldn't have to sleep on the hard floor of the Hermes cabin.

Instead, that's where he spent most nights. It was funny how he sometimes even longed for the feeling of the cold wood digging into his back as his neck was supported by a hard pillow. He'd grown so familiar with his small corner, he could almost picture it even miles away. His bedroom in Texas just wasn't the same. Sure, he probably got better sleep, but the bare ceiling and lack of people surrounding him was so...empty. Countless nights he lay staring at the ceiling fan, desperately wishing to return to the place he truly considered his home.

In these mostly sleepless nights, he thought about the campers who'd left. Every year, it seemed the number increased. The once buzzing Hermes cabin started growing duller as more and more of the unclaimed joined Luke Castellan on the side of the Titan Lord. Milo almost questioned why he hadn't left himself. He was just like those other campers, wandering through the mythical world with no clue about his identity or if he would ever be claimed. He'd be lying if he said he didn't resent the gods for it. But enough to turn on Olympus and do the exact thing everyone feared he would? The lesser of two evils was the choice.

But how could he be so sure which was which?
