More angst. I gotta stop. I should be sleeping I have school tomorrow.
TW: thoughts of self suicide(not in the way you'd think though. The term "kill yourself" is literally in this.)

Jeremy had woken up in probably the strangest place he'd ever seen, some sort of forest but not one like he knew.

The sky was purple instead of black, there were no stars, and a very faint moonlight. The trees seemed to have blue leaves and red bark which was strange.

But what was stranger than that was that Michael stood at the edge of it silently, seeming to wait for Jeremy to follow, so he did.

It was long, dark, and honestly quite disturbing. When Jeremy turned at all he could see memories of his junior year swell in his mind. He tried to ignore it as he had to keep track of Michael.

He lost him halfway through the forest.

"M-Michael? Micha!? W-Where'd you g-go!?" Jeremy yelled, but nobody seemed to hear. He sat down in the clearing he stood in and began crying, curling into a ball.

He was lost, and everywhere he looked, he was haunted by the memories of what he did to everybody. He wanted it to stop, he wanted it to just stop.

Utterly lost and confused, Jeremy had no clue what to do until he seen a shadow on the ground.

"I know the way out. Just take my hand Jeremy." The voice, which sounded like his own, whispered, holding out a hand.

Jeremy reluctantly accepted, grabbing the male's hand and following him.

He hadn't been lying, they did find the exit, and there was a rather large cliff, water underneath it.

"T-Thanks for helping me out." Jeremy mumbled but the person put a finger to his mouth to shush him.

"You aren't out yet Jeremy. The exit is down there." The person pointed to the water and Jeremy gulped.

"Why would it...uh...be down there?"

"Don't act like you don't know Jeremy. You know you're pathetic, weak, lonely. You're a loser. You're dating a loser, you lost everything WE worked for."

"W-We?" Jeremy asked and the person took his hood off. Jeremy froze as he stood before himself. Well this version of him had brought blue eyes, cleaner hair, less acne, a gray hoodie, and an all too familiar black Eminem shirt on.

"Well really it's what I worked for until you came out of your cage. You ruined everything! We were finally popular! I was finally free!" The other Jeremy yelled, taking a step towards Jeremy, causing him to get closer to the cliff. "We finally had Christine! She was ours! Then you had to go and turn gay for that pathetic loser you call a friend and left her!!"

"Michael is not pathetic! He's also not a loser! And Christine and me have been friends for two years now!!" Jeremy yelled, clenching his fists as he tried to keep balance.

"Oh I seem to recall you calling Michael a...what was it again, oh right. A loser." The other Jeremy clapped and Jeremy froze as he stood in Jake's upper bathroom, the other Jeremy next to him.

They watched as the door opened and Jeremy from junior year made his way into the bathroom, sighing in relief, sitting against the tub.

Jeremy watched it all play out just as he remembered it. Then his past self slammed the door and he noticed Michael was crying.

No, not just crying, full on sobbing. Jeremy knew he was having a panic attack and wanted to hug him and kiss him and tell him it was okay.

But he couldn't. As soon as he reached out to Michael, he was back on the cliff.

"You're pathetic Jeremy! You put that crybaby before yourself and you shouldn't! You don't need him! This world doesn't need you! Now that you've screwed everything up you should just die!" The other Jeremy kicked Jeremy off the cliff, laughing.

Jeremy fell slowly, world going black and tears forming.

"He's right...I am a loser... I do deserve to die..." Jeremy mumbled as he crashed into the water.

His lungs filled with water and his tears seemed to disappear. Everything turned dark until he could no longer see anything. Then he heard a voice.

"Jeremy. Jeremy. C'mon wake up!" It whispered to him.

Jeremy sat up in a cold sweat, eyes streaming with tears. His pillow was wet. He looked over to see Michael beside him, holding his hand.

"M-Michael...did I...what did I..." Jeremy noticed the look of fear on Michael's face.

"You...You started kicking which you don't do. Then there were tears and mumbling and eventually you were sobbing and I was trying to calm you down but you wouldn't let me anywhere near y-you so...so I grabbed you hand and that calmed you somehow...then...then you started screaming and freaking out and I thought you were gonna die....why exactly did you do that though?" Michael asked and Jeremy quickly fell on to him, and sunk into the embrace Michael provided.

He stroked Jeremy's back so the younger male would relax and it worked.

While still crying and shaking, Jeremy explained the nightmare to Michael. How he'd gotten lost following him but then was found by another version of himself. How he relived Jake's Halloween party and how he seen Michael's panic attack. He explained how he was pushed into the water and died slowly.

Michael hugged him tighter, creating circular motions on his back and gently cooing sweet nothings in his ear to reassure him he was okay.

"So they've been getting worse huh?" Michael mumbled and Jeremy nodded.

"O-Once October is over I t-think I'll be alright..." Jeremy answered quietly.

Yearly nightmares were not fun, especially if you were Jeremy Heere or Rich Goranski. Luckily for them both they had loving boyfriends who told them it was okay.

Oh so close to chapter 60 like omg j can't believe it's already up to 59 chapters that's the most any Wattpad book of mine has ever had.
