Been binging Kindergarten Boyfriend and decided to make a depressing little one shot
I swear fluff will happen.

TW: suicidal thoughts, attempted suicide(almost), near death, Michael is sad do I need to say anything else?

He couldn't believe he was actually doing this. Michael couldn't believe he was letting a stupid crush get the best of him. He looked down at the water, which seemed like forever away, and pulled the letter out of his hoodie pocket.

He reread it, making sure that it was perfect...not that anything about this situation WAS perfect...nothing was. Not anymore...

Michael hadn't climbed over the railing yet, and decided he'd think a bit more to himself before actually jumping...

He thought about Jeremy...his best friend, his only friend, and for a few years, his "boyfriend". Granted they were in elementary school but the moment they entered sixth grade, people wouldn't shut up about it.

Jeremy thought it was smart to break up so the teasing would stop, but before they did, he'd kissed Michael one last time. He also gave Michael back the P2 Heart locket that Michael had given him in third grade.

That broke Michael. He always thought he and Jeremy would be together forever...but it seems that Michael is forever destined to be alone.

They're in highschool now and Michael's just as in love with Jeremy as he had been when he was younger...but now Jeremy was with somebody else...and he wouldn't listen to reason.

People were injured by this new boyfriend Jeremy had...and Michael, emotionally, was one of them. This boy took Jeremy away and changed him.

Now Michael was sitting on the edge of the bridge, looking at the matching heart lockets around his neck and crying to himself.

He slowly stood up and held the railings...this was it. No more stalling...he was going to do it.

"Michael stop!" He turned around to see Jeremy standing there, tears running down his face.

"What are y-you doing here Jeremy?" Michael refused to look at his former friend, the tears would only get worse.

"I...I went to your house to apologize...your moms said you were out taking a stroll by the bridge but...I knew what you were doing..." Jeremy's eyes were glowing in the moonlight as he made his way over to Michael calmly.

"And what about y-your boyfriend?"

"Oh he...umm...blew me off...look Michael let's just forget about it please...just...climb back over the railing and walk away from the edge."

"How do I know you won't break my heart again?" Michael was letting his grip on the rail tighten, his knuckles turning white.

"What are you talking about? Break your heart?"

"You don't remember the first year of middle school? You broke up with me Jeremy! My heart shattered! You know how hard that was for me!? You, the boy I'd loved since the day I met him, LEFT me!!" Michael yelled, and Jeremy stood frozen in realization.

"That... you're...that hurt you this badly?" He asked, and Michael was looking down again.

"Yes...but I thought in highschool...you'd let me be yours again...but then you got a new boyfriend...and you left me..." Jeremy gently put a hand on Michael's cheek, cupping it softly.

"You should have told me...I had no idea you were hurting..."

"I didn't want to feel selfish..." Michael was starting to look at Jeremy, and he was glad to see that beautiful face once again.

"You aren't selfish... you're in love...and honestly...I miss you...a lot...I really do..." Jeremy didn't bother wiping his tears away, he was too busy wiping Michael's tears away.

"I...miss you t-too..." Michael mumbled, and he went to climb over the railing but slipped and fell, barely gripping the columns under the railing.

"Michael! H-Hold on... I've got your hand." Jeremy grabbed Michael's hand and began pulling with his weak arms.

"J-Jeremy I...I don't wanna die..." Michael's voice was shaky and his face was pained. Jeremy felt a sting in his heart and pulled harder, it didn't work.

Michael's hands finally slipped and he fell, Jeremy's eyes grew wide as he tried to figure out a way to save Michael...

Within only a few seconds, he heard Michael's body hit the water. He ran his way down to where the water was and didn't care how wet he was.

He found Michael and gently picked him up, holding him in his arms. Michael's face was cut up from the rocks closer to the surface of the water, and his mouth was bleeding.

"Michael...I'm sorry...Please...Please be alive..." Jeremy grabbed Michael's hand and put his fingers on his wrist...pulse...that's good. Michael was alive.

Jeremy quickly grabbed his phone out of his pocket, dialing 911 and praying to get an ambulance out to his only real friend...

They were coming.

That's all Jeremy needed to hear. He held the injured boy in his arms, not knowing how much pain he was in.

"Michael I'm sorry I...I was stupid... I should never have left you...I... I'm sorry..." Jeremy gently caressed Michael's cheek with the back of hand, tears welling in his eyes yet again.

That's when the twin lockets caught his eye. Michael kept them...Jeremy gently took the P2 locket off of around Michael's neck and placed it around his own, the familiar sensation bringing him back to elementary school for a brief second before he heard sirens.

* * *

Jeremy finally got notified about Michael waking up a few days after he'd jumped.

School went back to being Hell...Jeremy was once again a loser, a single loser at that, but he was just glad Michael was awake.

The minute he got out of school he rushed his way to the hospital, asking to see Michael.

When he got into room he stared in pain at Michael. He was hooked up to multiple machines, his arm was broken, one of his legs was broken, and he was wearing a neck brace, not to mention the cuts scattered on his face and arms.

Jeremy walked over and sat by Michael's bed, gently holding his good hand.

"Hey Michael." Jeremy mumbled and Michael smiled in response. "Can you not talk well or do you not want to?" Michael shook his head and nodded. Second question was right. "Look...I'm so sorry I left you I...I shouldn't have...I know you have dependency issues and all that I don't know why...why I left but I'm sorry..."

"... I-it's ok-kay Jere..." Michael whispered quietly and Jeremy began to interlace their fingers. Michael blushed on contact.

"Michael...do you know why I broke up with you?" Michael shook his head, gripping Jeremy's hand tighter. "I...I was scared people would hurt you if we were together...because you're gay...so I thought if you and me weren't a couple...people would leave you alone...it's not that I stopped loving you, I never did...but...I didn't want you hurt..."

"Jere...I d-don't c-care what people s-say...I wanna b-be with you...please..." Michael's voice was very quiet, and Jeremy smiled gently as he placed a kiss on Michael's forehead.

"I still love you Michael...and I would be honored if you'd be my boyfriend again..."

"Of c-course Jere..." Michael smiled weakly and the two began dating again after that.

Jeremy's ex boyfriend ran away the next day, and yes the boys were losers again but they didn't care...they were together.

Some romances are for elementary, and others are for forever...no matter what others say.

That was fun
The next one is most likely gonna be a fluff. Hopefully....
