"I can't believe it's over. School is gone forever" Jeremy sighed leaning on Michael "yeah, that was sort of a shit show" Rich agreed

'but now we get college, yaayyy~" Jena said un-enthusiasticly 

the squip squad sat in a line on the roof of jakes new house with there legs dangling of the edge, looking at the sun set with a perfect view

"well, you know... happy ending and shit" Michael chuckled looking down with a sad smile

"whats wrong?" Christine asked as she played with Jeremy's hair, basically on his lap

Michael just looked at Jeremy who was happy content with his girlfriend and best friend by his sides

Michael smiled and shook his head "it's nothing, really"

~the day Michael and Jeremy met~

they were in preschool and Jeremy had been all alone. Jeremy was siting in a corner too scared to talk to the other kids, Michael's mom's had just dropped him of and he was about to walk over to Rich and Jake but then he saw Jeremy.

He saw him and couldn't stop looking at him so he walked over to Jeremy, "hi! you look sad, whats wrong?" he asked siting next to him

"u-um, I'm not, er, not very good at making friends" he mumbled

"well... I can be your friend" Michael suggested nervously

"really! o-ok!" he said

"my name is Michael" he said holding out his hand like he saw his parents do 

"I'm Jeremy!" Jeremy grind as he used Michael's hand to pull him into a hug

"do you wanna go colour?" Jeremy said jumping up, still holding Michaels hand 

"yeah!" Michael said smiling at the fact he made his new friend happy 

~the day Michael knew he needed Jeremy~

it was 5th grade and Michael was waiting in the parking lot for Jeremy so they can walk home together, he was thinking of a test he had flunked and how to tell his mom's when is thoughts were interrupted 

"hay loser!" an annoying voice yelled form behind him, he turned around to fine one of the main school bullies 

"ugh, what do you want Kurt?" Michael asked already preparing himself for the inevitable 

"what did you say to me?!" he said walking quickly towards him, 

Kurt then prosed to beat the living shit out of Michael

he was lying on the flour with a bloody nose, bleeding lip and broken glasses when he heard a voice

"s-stop that!" Jeremy said shakily "now." he said with more authority 

"or what" Kurt said mockingly 

Michael looked up just in time to see Jeremy punch him in the face then run over to Michael 

"w-we need to leave" Jeremy said helping him up and they ran all the way to Michael's house

Michael stayed up the entire night just so he could hear Jeremy's soft breathing while he was asleep on the bed next to him

~back to the present~

I could go on listing dates that meant the world to Michael but nothing to Jeremy but that would take all day,

He had loved him first. He had always loved him and always will. 

Michael didn't know it now but him and Jeremy would always be friends, all through the much anticipated college, at Jeremy's wedding with Christine, all of it. and Michael would never stop loving him.

he looked at Jeremy, the wind in his hair and his eyes closed. sure, Michael was a little sad but.... Jeremy was happy. thats all Michael cared about. 

Jeremy lived on unaware of the pain he caused the only person who always had his back, his player 1 but ....

Jeremy lived happy and as long as he was happy... Michael would do it all over again because he learned that true love is bitter sweet and can't always end the way you want it

"are you sure your ok? dude you look so lost in thought" Jeremy said turning to Michael

"it's nothing" Michael insisted giving him a reassuring smile
