Shining cars sped by on the early afternoon street. Inside the little plaza of small restaurants, three men stood outside a mostly abandoned building. Next to it, a bustling boba shop was already whirring with raven haired young adults. Jung Hoseok took keys out of his jacket pocket with excitement. He jangled them in front of his friends, Min Yoongi and Park Jimin, with a huge grin.

"Someone is excited," Yoongi cringed. "Jinjeonghae! Calm down!" Jimin laughed.

"It's his first restaurant, of course our Hobi is excited!" the blonde said. He patted his friend's back, and Hoseok smiled more.

"It's just going to be a small restaurant, Jimin," he said. Jimin shrugged. "But thanks for coming, guys. Too bad everyone else was busy."

"I'm too lazy to be busy, so you're welcome," Yoongi yawned, hands in his pockets.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world!" Jimin said cheerily. Sometimes Hoseok wondered how all of his friends got along - they all were so different. But the universe had put them all together somehow, all seven of them.

Hoseok turned his attention back to the building in front of them.

"Well here is the grand opening!" he said, hands almost dropping the keys in excitement. Jimin wrapped his arms around Hoseok as he opened the door, and Hoseok could tell that Yoongi was smiling slightly.

Hoseok clicked the lock and pushed the door open. They stepped inside the clean and empty room. Two bathrooms plus a supply room and kitchen were in the back and cans of white paint staggered around the wide walls, but otherwise, nothing else was inside. Hoseok took in a deep breath.

"I think this will be fun," he smiled.

"Hopefully it won't be as bad as when Namjoon cooks," Yoongi said, looking around the clear space.

"Yoongi, stop being so sad," Jimin scolded.

"Ugh fine. Yay. We're so happy for you, Hobi."

"Thanks," Hoseok laughed. There was a noise from one of the bathrooms, and he jumped. Yoongi cracked a grin. "Dagchyeo! Shut up..."

"Should we check that?" asked Jimin.

"You check it, Jimin," Hoseok said, pushing the younger man forward. Jimin laughed.

"Scared?"

"No...but you go check it."

"Fine fine," Jimin said. He walked up to the doors and slowly examined them. Hoseok was casually hiding behind Yoongi. Jimin suddenly flung both doors open with a grin.

"Surprise!" came a loud yell. Hoseok jumped again and screamed a bit. Once he calmed down, he widened his eyes at the sight of his other four friends - Kim Taehyung, Kim Namjoon, Jeon Jungkook, and Kim Seok-Jin.

"I told you he would be scared!" Jimin facepalmed. Taehyung brushed off his black bomber jacket.

"Aya! There's paint flecks everywhere!" he complained. Namjoon rolled his eyes and went to give Hoseok a hug. The latter was very confused.

"We wanted to be here for your new restaurant and all," explained Namjoon. "The scaring you idea was Tae and Jimin's." Hoseok glared at the two.

"Sorry," Taehyung laughed. He high-fived Jimin.

"Congrats, hyung!" Jungkook clapped. Hoseok smiled.

"Thanks, Jungkookie." He took another deep breath. "I thought I was the only one with the keys?" Taehyung waved his hand.

"We have our ways."

"That can't be a good thing," mumbled Hoseok, running a hand through his black hair. Jin gave him a hug, but then rushed to the door.

"Hey, I heard there's really good boba next door! Can we go?!" he pointed outside.

"Always one for the food," Namjoon facepalmed.

"Dang-yeonhaji! Of course!" said Jin, still pointing to neighboring cafe. "Let's celebrate!"

"Sounds fun," Yoongi shrugged. He put an arm around Hoseok's shoulders. "You deserve a celebration." Hoseok grinned.

"Boba sounds great!"

"Do you ever think we eat too much?"

"Shut up, Yoongi!"

"Aish..."
