Fang's pov

I was walking through the corridors of the palace, letting out a sigh.
It was one busy day for the Human Kingdom and Gods' Heaven.

Humans have proved themselves unworthy to live amongst us Gods. Therefore, they shall be banished and be given punishment. That was the decision made by our supreme leaders.

I myself, agree. These useless imbeciles have brought us nothing but headache.

Although one of us stands against the idea. Lady Yaya.
She was the godess of beauty and peace for the humans.
For now, she is the only one who still believes in their ability to change.

"Fang." I turned around to see Kaizo, one of the supreme leaders. "What is it?" I asked, a little irritated.

"Its almost time."

***

All the gods have gathered for our attack against the Human Kingdom.

No matter how much preparation they have done, they wouldnt be able to stand against us.

"ATTACK!!!!" The horns echoed all throughout the heavens, and lightning struck on the land.
The screams of the Gods were as if thunder, showering upon the ones who inhabit the grounds.

I could smell fear from below us, as we all headed out to the kingdom.

I landed first, the god of combat and skill. "Aaargghhhh!!!"
A flood of people came raging towards my direction.

A smirk went across my face.
"May the shadows be with you."

I summoned darkness and our surroundings turned pitch black.

"SWOOSH!"
The lights soon returned, and in front of me was an overflowing river of blood.

I grinned. "Piece of cake."
At a nearby distance, I could already hear the cries and desperate moans of the tortured low-lifes.
Suddenly, I saw Lady Yaya watching us from above, her eyes swollen with sorrow.

I dismissed her and continued to murder the foolish creations.

***

I slashed my sword through houses, broke their necks, cut their bodies into shreds.

I knew they couldnt stand a chance.

Until--

"TIIISSSHHHHHHH" The annoying sound of metal against skin stung my ears.

I touched my arm, red liquid flowing from it.

"Stop it!!!" I looked at the young girl who wounded me.
Her face had no expression on it but anger and hate.
"I will kill you!!!" Her cheeks were stained with blood, and her knife was all red.

I chuckled. "Silly girl."
Her blue eyes widened as my wound healed. "Im immortal."
I pointed my sword at her, thinking of how I should torture her. She was the first one to scratch my divine body after all.
She deserves a beautiful death~

Even so, it was fascinating ; how she managed to hit me.

"Come." I teased, challenging her.

Her eyes seemed as if they were piercing into mine.
She rushed to my side in a blink of an eye! "Ceh, too slo--"

I was cut off by her foot, kicking my shoulder. I coughed.

"Still arrogant, God ?" She mocked me.
I had to admit, for a human, this was impressive.

I could see her take her knife out from the side, and *clang!!*
Our weapons clashed, creating a noise which damaged our hearing.

"Shadows consume those of which break thy laws." I whispered unto her ear, making her fly back and retreat with her knife as she saw my shadows appear.
"Tsk." She glared at the darkening aura which surrounded me.

The light vanished, and we were both in a deep, suffocating abyss of nothing but darkness.

She gasped softly, making me want to tease her more.

"Over here."

She turned her head to the direction of my voice, slashing through nothing but air.

I laughed.

"Over here."
"Over here."
"Over here."

I played tricks on her, swiftly going places.

"Show yourself, coward!!"
She yelled out.

"Over here. "
"Mmf!!!"
I grabbed her from behind, muffling up her screams.
One of my hands grabbed her waist, while one covered her mouth.

"Hold still.."I whispered to her, making her squirm.

Soon, the shadows disappeared, and light surrounded us again-- only to wrap around her like vines.

I let go of her and let my shadows hold her together, as to not escape.

"Foolish child."
I took my sword and slowly cut through her neck.

Her eyes bawled out and tears began to drip from them, but fighting back only made the cut worse.

"No!! Stop!" My gaze turned to the heavens, seeing Yaya, who was crying.

I looked back at the human who dared threathen a God, then back at the lovely Godess who was on her knees, feeling the creature's pain.

"How irritating." I thought, then summoned my shadows back to where they came from, releasing the black-haired girl who was now as weak as a rotten vegetable after what ive done.

I stared at her with interest, before retreating to the heavens.

Barely breathing, the girl looked up at me, then fainted.

----

Once again, I used my shadows to teleport to Lady Yaya's side.
There was a silence between us, as we watched the chaotic and merciless murder in the human kingdom.

"Pity them.." she muttered, crumpling her jewel- adorned gown.

I looked at her with disappointment. "A godess must control herself." I said, spotting a spy from her wardrobe, yet I remained silent.

She turned to me, her figure was weak. She felt the pain of all the purged souls. It was the cruel curse she beared for loving these sinful beings.

"You are the only God who doesnt despise them." I walked towards the wardrobe slowly.

"They have done things which are wrong, but they dont they deserve to die!" She argued.

"They do !" I slammed the door open and found a Young boy in ragged clothing, spying on us.
"Load of trash!" I grabbed him by the collar, making him tremble in fear.

Yaya's eyes widened.
"NO!! FANG!" She ran towards me, embracing the lad.

"Let him free.." She ran her fingers through his hair, annoying me.
"You're a disgrace!" I angrily let my shadows cover the room.

"Go!!!" She told the brown-haired boy, pushing him away.
He hesitated but jumped out in fear, escaping my wrath.

"WHY?!" I yelled at the Godess, making her shiver.
"Stop it..." She cried.

My anger subsided as her tears came flowing again. I sighed.

Tarung, one of the mightiest of the supreme leaders, came barging into the room, frightening us both.

"Tarung!!" My eyes enlarged.
The God of War and Justice has returned from his dreadful judgement in a rebellious human area.

"End this. Now." He said in a stern voice, enraged by our behavior while he was gone.

"Yes, Tarung." I bowed to him out of respect, before leaving the room to send out his command.

I saw that girl again as I flew down with my shadows, making me smirk.
"We'll see each other again, someday.."

These humans sure are lucky; but it does not mean their end would never come.
Eventually, all their wrong doings would return to them.
They can't run from their fate.
