Hallucination

It started out just like any normal day.

Tanah, being the most responsible one of the brothers, was the first to wake. He got up and prepared himself for the day before going downstairs to do his daily chores.

He got a cloth and a feather duster from the cupboard under the stairs where Harry Potter slept for ten years. Because they're currently leaving in 4 Privet Drive after scaring away the Dursleys. Just kidding.

Tanah started dusting off the shelves with the feather duster before wiping the tables with the cloth. He then proceeded to vacuum the floor and mopped it.

Once he was done, Tanah smiled and lowered himself to the sofa and unknowingly dozed off. By the time he was completely asleep, Petir and Angin descended from their shared room, both looking like they're ready to face the day.

They saw Tanah comfortably sleeping on the sofa and decided not to wake him up. After all, only God knows what time Tanah wakes up in the morning.

The duo went to the dining room, expecting breakfast to be ready. To their surprise, the table was bare, with no plates nor food in sight. A quick look in the kitchen revealed the same.

"Tanah didn't make breakfast?" Angin asked, somehow sounding not surprised at all.

"He's probably tired, you know?" Petir said. "We did see him sleeping on the sofa earlier."

"Let's not wake him up then," the wind elemental said lazily. "Let's just make breakfast ourselves."

And so they did. Well, mostly Angin did. While Petir did know his way around the kitchen, he very much prefer to watch his (slightly) younger brother in his element. That, and he sometimes tended to burn the things.

Tanah woke up to the smell of food and immediately dashed to the dining room where Petir was setting the plates on the table.

"Oh Tanah, you're awake!" Petir said cheerfully as he set the last plate down. "Angin was just about done with the food."

"Hmm, I heard my name," Angin said as he existed the kitchen, carrying the plate of sandwiches in his hands.

"That looks good, Angin," Tanah commented as they all sat down on the table. "I'm sorry for making you cook breakfast though."

Tanah dug into the food, missing the subtle exchange of glances of his two companions.

Angin lazily waved the apology away. "We found you sleeping on the sofa earlier. We figured that you're probably tired so we let you be."

Tanah scratched the back of his neck. "I wasn't that tired, actually. The truth is, I forgot to make breakfast."

Angin smiled sadly as if he knew something Tanah didn't. "You're definitely tired, Tanah."

"Angin's right," Petir agreed. "You should go rest at your room after breakfast."

Tanah tried to protest, but the no nonsense stare that he got from his older brothers made him relent. "Okay, Abang Petir, Abang Angin."

Petir sighed in defeat as they continued to eat breakfast.

Soon enough, the rest of the brothers went down for breakfast.

"The food is great as usual, Tanah," Air commented lazily as he continued to eat his sandwich.

"Actually about that... Angin was the one who made breakfast today."

Daun's eyes sparkled. "Woah, teach me your ways, Abang Angin!"

The nature elemental's exclamation was followed by the rest of the brothers praising Angin for his exceptional cooking skills.

Tanah smiled as his brother Aki blushed under the praises. Wait, the name sounded wrong. Was it Akun? Angan? Argon?

"You should cook for lunch later, Angin."

Ahh, Angin it is then. But why does he wear his cap differently?

"I agree with Cahaya," Tanah said softly. "You should cook dinner tonight as well."

Six blank faces stared back at him.

"What?" the earth elemental asked in confusion.

"Tanah," Petir said softly. "Solar's dead."

"Then... who's sitting at the other end of the table, Petir?"

"There's no one at the end of the table, Tanah," Ice said.

All of a sudden, four figures disappeared from his sight, and two people stared at him worriedly.

"And it wasn't Petir who spoke. It's me," Blaze said gently. "Hali and the others were dead, remember? It's only the three of us left."

Surprised? I was, when I was still writing this. I didn't know that my mind could take me somewhere like this.

Hope you like this oneshot.
