Dante struggled to keep up with everyone, as they all smiled and laughed. Dante kept his smile on his face, but it was hard to do. He danced along with everyone else, helping Corey and whoever needed help along the way.

Just keep breathing. Keep smiling.

Dante laughed at one of James's dumb jokes, keeping up with his group's energy. They stopped dancing by now, they were now just out of the small parade and were just talking as they walked around the festival.

Keep smiling. Keep laughing.

Dante buys everyone snacks, being so insistent on it, they all enjoyed kabobs and octodogs on their plates as they sat down at a random picnic table in the festival. Dante hummed as he pretends to enjoy the food he bought, keeping a smile on his face. Corey was being adorable, not really eating the kabob right. This was the first time he ate one, according to him, and he just proved it with every bite.

Keep laughing. Don't be improper.

Dante looked up at the night and starry sky, wanting to touch it. He knew Corey very much hated the dark, so he avoids it. It hurt him to do so, but Corey was his only light in the dark, his star in the dark empty night. He'd do anything for him, and if that meant hating the peaceful dark, so be it. Corey asked if Dante was okay, he said yes.

Don't be improper. Don't be sad.

Dante blushed when Corey fell asleep on him. Corey has yawned once in a while, so it made sense. Dante smiled as he looked up at the sky in hunger. Too bad his food from his stomach was thrown out his mouth. (Not really, in his opinion.) Dante lost sight of James and Luke, but he didn't mind. He was positive that Corey would, though, so he begrudgingly pushed Corey off, laying him down on the bench they were on. Dante hummed, knowing Corey would be freezing as he searched. He guessed it was the only choice as he didn't have anything to cover him with, and scooped Corey off the bench and carried him bridal style.

He looked and searched for quite a while before spotting a panicked Luke and James. Dante sheepishly explained that Corey fell asleep and that he had to carry him around. Corey was groaning, about to wake up.

You did it.

"This was a really fun festival," James smiled as Corey just woken up.

"Hmm...? D-did I miss the f-festival?" Corey said groggily, looking up with tired eyes. He saw that Dante was carrying him and immediately turn red, "D-Dante, y-you can put me down n-now..." Corey immediately spat with embarrassment.

Dante's cheeks turned bright red, "Hm? Oh, r-right, I apologize." Dante said as he gently place down Corey. Corey dusted himself of with a smile, slightly embarrassed. Dante than saw something unexpected.

James kissed Corey.
