*3rd person P.O.V*

At the medical center, both ratchet and rivet were taken to different rooms as per regulation so they could be looked at individually to see if they should stay overnight as it was already very late. Ratchet had been assigned a brown and black furred lombax male that had a ponytail keeping his mane like fur out of the way while rivet got a tan and red furred female lombax with a fur sweep similar to her own. The only exception was that their's had pink highlights and rivet realized the female also had a mechanical arm as well just on the opposite side of her own.

Outside in the lobby were Alister, clank and Kit as well as mags and rex who had arrived shortly after the five had gotten there. Rex and Mags had been watching out for aphelion from where they were working on some finishing touches to one of the buildings and had explained to Alister and the other two that they had just finished up what they were doing when they saw Alister rush down the path to get to ratchet and rivet. The two had gotten worried when they saw the five heading to the medical center shortly after and had decided to trail behind the group after they made sure they had the correct signage up for the building to let others know there was wet paint in the area before they followed. Like the other three Rex and Mags just wanted to make sure that ratchet and rivet were ok and didn't have any severe injuries though it did leave them questioning what exactly happened while the two were out.

As they all waited in the lobby for about a hour and a half clank was actually the one to show anxiety while Kit was trying to calm him down as clank was mumbling about how he should of been there to keep ratchet safe and that he had failed as a friend. Kit had tried to reassure him that he shouldn't blame himself for not going as there was no way of knowing what could have happened and had said that ratchet would be ok. He may be banged up now but, he would be ok soon enough and then had hugged clank who had froze up slightly from the sudden embrace though he soon wrapped his own arms around her in a return hug and had said "thank you kit, I needed to hear that"

The two had stayed in their hug for a good twenty seconds before letting each other go when they relized they were being stared at by the other three lombaxes in the room though all three were smiling. Soon after alister came over and actually hugged clank though he was very careful about it knowing he was very likely still on a thin line with clank though clank himself did hug him back before breaking the hug. Alister and clank stared at each other seemingly having a silent conversation before they gave themselves distance and got back to their chairs.

Everyone else in the room were very confused on what they had witnessed between the two though soon enough a nurse had come over asking if any of them were hungry and had gotten a confirmation from all three lombaxes. Soon enough she brought out complimentary snacks and drinks to choose from.

Unsurprisingly Alister chose a breegus tea as he seemed to have a sweet tooth for the drink and a breakfast bar, Mags had chose a chamomile tea and a bagel and Rex had chosen a basic water and also chose a breakfast bar. For clank and Kit the nurse had brought over some of the oil that ratchet and rivet had put on file for their companions when they woke up after the tachyon attack and the two took it gratefully and sipped at it.

It was after all five had finished eating their breakfast that news on ratchet and rivet had finally been brought to the group though the news was bittersweet. They had been informed that ratchet's back had suffered a few slipped disks and needed to be in a back brace for at least a couple weeks to ensure his back was healing properly and for rivet her arm socket had luckily not been damaged terribly however it would need to be repaired and she had to go without her prosthetic until the connector had been fixed. Both were to be off any sort of active duty for a while which everyone in the room knew would be hard for the two but, on a more positive note that also meant the two wouldn't have to deal with rude politicians for a while and could have time for themselves.

Soon after getting the news the nurse had informed them that the two had been put in the same room now that they were done checking over them and gave the ok to visit the two in their room though requested that they kept their voices low as the two and the other patients may be sleeping and so with that the five went to the room that they were told and entered quietly. What they saw made them all smile as the two had already brought their tails together and were getting some well deserved sleep.
