She shuffled uneasily.

The caged animal stood over her desk, clutching her head in agony.

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD," She shrieked.

She hissed in response.

She shrunk to the floor, trembling. Her wings were wrapped so tightly around her.

"THIS IS YOUR FAULT, THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT," She sobbed.

I'm helping them.

She screamed again.

She watched from the shadows. The shelves were stacked with books. The maze stretched out in all directions except behind them where there was a large, circular window.

Those bright blue eyes snapped up and stared at her. The animal's sides heaved. She was insane. She wanted to kill her.

"You're scared of me," She growled.

She didn't respond.

"Just you wait. Just you wait you-you-you," She started shaking again, her scales turning black.

It won't happen on my watch. Do you really think they will want more?

"They love me," She forced the words out of her throat, grasping onto any bit of control she could, "They...they will want more. THEY HAVE TO."

What a narcissist.

She was slithering into her mind, tearing at her nerves.

She let out another bloodcurdling scream.

They blinked a few times and it was over. They could continue.
