Y/N's POV

I stared at Candid in shock.  "No...."

S/N looked terrified.  "You can't be serious!"

Candid sighed.  "I wish I wasn't....  The only one who won't become a mindless killing machine here is B/F/N.  He doesn't bear the S/A."

"Wait, why doesn't he?"  Asked Gem.

"Because, since I, more or less, deemed him co-leader, I didn't give him the symbol.  Leaders don't bear the symbols of their armies, so...I guess co-leader was just another type of leader to me."  I explained.

"So...we have 5 days to do all we can to protect both the N/A army...and the rest of Minecraftia...."  Garrett muttered.

I ran a hand through my hair.  "This is exactly why we need to get to the Budder Kingdom!  We have to warn them!"

"Y/N, there's only 7,000 of us....  At worst, we'll kill a few thousand of their people and they'll wipe us completely out...."  Bren sighed.

I held a hand up.  "Don't think like that.  That is yet another reason we should warn the kingdom.  So they won't kill you all."

"We could always lock ourselves up...?"  Garrett suggested questioningly.

"Then I would free you, or you'd free yourselves somehow.  Either way, not everyone would cooperate with that...."  I countered.  "Look, there is no other way.  We have to get their help."

Everyone glanced at everyone else.  Candid sighed.  "Alright, but we're taking a lot of people to protect you.  I don't want to risk having you injured if they deem you dangerous.  I'll walk out there with you along with one other person, but everyone else can be hiding among the trees.  That way, they can intervene if necessary."

I shrugged.  "Do whatever.  My concern is to get to Sky and the rest of Team Crafted.  We need to warn them.  Minecraftia is in danger and I have to get to them whatever the cost."

Candid stood.  "Alright.  I'll go gather some people.  Is there anyone in particular that you wish to come?"

I nodded.  "Gem and Bren.  Garrett can come if he'd like to."

Garrett smiled lightly.  "I'd love to, but I am the head of the sorcerers here.  I have to make sure they're properly trained."

I smiled back.  "That's ok.  You do whatever you need to do.  If it's ok with you all, I'd like to spend a little time with my sister before we head out."

They all stood up.  "Alright.  Gem, Bren, you two get geared up for the journey.  I'll go and get a few more people."  Candid ordered.

I smiled slightly, watching as they all left, leaving me with S/N.

S/N got up from her chair and came over to me, hugging me tightly.  "Y/N, I don't think it's safe!  After everything Candid said about what happened between them and Father...."

I hugged her back.  "S/N, what other choice is there?  If I DON'T warn them, then the entire N/A army goes feral towards all Minecraftians and then we get wiped out!  Look, if the Budder Kingdom tries to kill me, then they have entirely plausible reasons!  I mean, I'm the daughter of the Nether god, for Notch's sake!"

"Oh, Y/N....  Please...try not to do anything dumb, ok...?"  S/N sighed as she back away.

I giggled.  "You're starting to sound like an older sister."

She smirked.  "I learned from the best.  And, uh, the only."

We sat in silence for a bit before S/N cocked her head a bit.  "Couldn't you sneak into the kingdom?  I have a feeling that getting directly to Sky would be more beneficial than hoping his people don't murder you."

I sighed.  "I did have that same thought, but...we don't know the patterns of patrols in the kingdom, nor do we have time to see what they are.  Our best hope is that they won't make me take off my glasses.  Otherwise, we're going to be in for a really bad time...."

S/N hugged me again, not letting go.  I hugged her back again, and we stayed like that for a little while.

"Y/N...I don't want you to go...."  S/N said quietly.  I could hear the distress in her voice.

I squeezed her slightly and let go, holding her shoulders and looking into her eyes.  "I don't either, sis....  I don't, either...."

A few minutes later, Candid returned with quite a few other people, including Bren and Gem.  Besides Candid and...a boy with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes, they were all wearing the typical stealth suits of the army.

S/N looked at them sadly and at me sadly.

Needless to say, it hurt my heart.

"S/N...why don't you head up to my house?  The (Favorite Color) one on the hilltop."

"Ok...Y/N...I love you."

I smiled.  "I love you, too, and don't you ever forget that.  No matter what I might say when I'm...changed, remember that I'll always love you, ok?  Now skedaddle along, sis."

She smiled and left the room.  The ones who entered looked like they felt slightly awkward about what they just witnessed.

I don't blame them.

I looked to Candid for a moment before he realized he was probably supposed to say something.  "Oh, yeah, sorry.  Umm...including myself, we have 7 coming with us.  Let me introduce each of them."

He looked to a female with silver hair and budder eyes.  "This is Ren.  She may look mostly normal, but she's actually an angel hybrid.  Her wings are like tattoos on her back and can come out when she wants them to."

Ren smiled at me and turned around to show the back of her black top.  There were two neatly-cut slits near the shoulder blades.  I noticed a bit of white just below the shirt.

Suddenly, two white wings protruded from the slits, growing to about...I'd say 5 feet each.

Ren turned back around, grinning.

I grinned back.  "That's really cool!"

Candid nodded.  "She's one of our best bow users and is pretty good with a sword.  She is also extremely strong, being able to carry someone of her own body weight including herself in the air for quite a while.  Basically, if things go south, she'll be able to carry you far enough away to escape."

I nodded.  "That's smart.  Nice to meet you, Ren!"

She gave a half-smile again.  "Nice to meet you, too, Y/N."

Candid gestured to the dirty blonde haired and blue eyed boy.  "This is Samuel.  Don't let his appearance deceive you, for, while he is technically normal, he is THE BEST swordsman in all of the N/A army.  He's even better than I am, and that's saying something.  Him and I will be walking with you as you approach the kingdom."

I smiled at Samuel.  "Nice to meet you, too!"

He smiled and nodded but said nothing.

Next, he gestured to a boy with brown hair and green eyes.  "This is Trent.  He is one of our best redstone masters.  He has this special ability to sense placed redstone, redstone traps, and redstone creations.  While Gem can sense ores, she has an extremely hard time sensing placed redstone, so Trent will be able to let us know if there's something amiss in redstone terms.  He is also able to make a mini-bomb in a short amount of time.  These tend to be used for knockback purposes."

"Nice to meet you, Trent!"

He nodded.  "To you, as well."

Candid smirked and gestured towards...an orange haired tiger hybrid boy?  "This is Pit.  He's...I suppose half-tiger hybrid, as you can tell.  His eyes give him greater vision in the dark, which can be very useful.  His ears also allow him to hear what most of us might miss.  His claws aren't just for show, either.  They are sharp as the Nether and can cut through extremely tough materials."

"Remind me not to get on your bad side, Pit."  I joked.

He grinned.  "Can do."

"I think you should know a little more about Bren, Gem, and I, as well.  Like Samuel, I am very skilled in melee combat.  However, Samuel has beaten me plenty of times, so I'm not ashamed to say that he's definitely better at it than me.  I...also have this ability to turn into an extremely powerful wolf for a time, becoming almost beast-like, but when I change back to this form...well...I'm weak and drained for the next few days.  I prefer to use this ability as an absolute last resort.  Bren is the second-in-command of the sorcerers, though she doesn't really use her powers in fights to injure.  She's an air sorcerer, one of the few we have.  She uses her ability to distract and/or disorient attackers so that her allies can take them on.  She can also carry someone or herself in the air for a short amount of time using the winds.  Gem isn't very strong melee or range-wise, but she can wield a pickaxe like a pro in battle.  Seriously, it's a bit scary how well she is able to use a pick in battle.  Also, if we happen to lose you, she'll be able to track where you are using that ruby in your necklace."

Candid looked around at all of them.  "I think that's everyone!"

I grinned.  "Well, then what are we waiting for?  Let's go warn the Budder Kingdom!"
