The pale blue scaled young male laid on the cave floor of his winglet's cave, His thoughts anything but bitter. He stared into oblivion as the others were asleep. 'Pyrhia's savior' Yeah right! These dimwitted lizards must have frostbite in their brains! Rain thought bitterly 'They should be bowing to me when I as much bestow even my own appearance! Not this fish with wings! Abyssal!? What type of name is that! Rain was too lost in his thoughts to hear the scrapping of claws against the stone floor till a dark large mass passed by and he snapped into reality looking over as it vanished around the corner. Intruder! Was the first thing that came to the young males mind but he suddenly found himself chasing after the dark mass. Finally it entered the large room, what was it called again?, The mess room? No...something else. He poked his head into the room and barley through the pitch black did he spot A faint teal glow. A seawing? Up this late?! That is illogical! Determined to figure out he quietly entered as he could feel the icy cold breath in his throat build up. If this was an Intruder they were about to regret ever coming to Jade Mountain Academy! Then he heard the quiet sound of a shaky sigh of relief. This intruder...seemed to be out of breath, That's...strange. Then he noticed what would probably be the darkest shade of blue he had ever seen, Yellow under scales and what appeared to be a strong built figure. Although it looked nothing like a seawing, Then he noticed exactly how big this dragon was...a good feet bigger than him.
Once again...the odds are against me.. He thought frustrated. Then the dragon turned and now he saw...it none the less shocked the male. Dark teal rectangular markings on yellow under scales, Yellow horns that were slightly chipped and large wings..capable of a fast and long flight..slightly webbed claws, Then its tail swished and he froze in his tracks seeing the sandwing famous poisonous barb. This was no Seawing! IT WAS A HYBRID! Half of the young male wanted to bolt and run to the safety of his winglet's cave, the other wanted to teach this intruder a lesson! He growled and there was only silence before the dragon spoke "seems someone was a bit too curious" a female!? "Who are you..state your business here intruder! Before your a frozen sculpture!" Rain growled and the dragon somehow stayed calm "Violence? Is that what you resort to first? Seriously...I just managed to stop this war." ITS WAS THAT BLASTED SO CALLED SAVIOR! "You?! You the fish with wings?! The so called heroine!" He snapped and Abyssal looked at him. He finally noticed the scar on the right side of her face then on her right shoulder..wait a second that looked like an Icewing claw scar! So she had experience. He remained alert "I didn't want attention..obviously it seems your jealous...of me? Hmm not a first.." WAS SHE MOCKING HIM?!
He growled at her "Don't you dare mock the prince of the ice wings you snoring walrus!" He snapped and Abyssal rolled her eyes. "Listen I have to go before the others wake up so if you would kindly move-" he cut her off blocking the exit out "And why should I let you? You are intruding!" He said. Abyssal sighed "I am simply a friend to your..teachers.." She said and Rain scoffed. "I doubt that..So basically you murdered your way to the top" he said and suddenly Abyssal growled "listen! I have been through more things than you can imagine little drake!" She snapped and barley dodged the Deadly freezing death breath. "Seriously?!" She said annoyed now, Her answer was the younger dragonet growling. "Listen..I don't know what you have against me but I am not going to fight an innocent dragon!" She said and Rain stopped. Jumping to conclusions....but she's intruding! He thought but then noticed she slipped past him! He went to whirl around but stopped seeing her looking at him "You know who I am...but if you don't mind Prince...I'd actually like to know who you are.." She said quietly.
Me tell her who I am?! Is she crazy!
He growled before she suddenly chuckled "Rain...a nice name..fit for you young prince.." Rain froze. "H-how did you.." He trailed off looking at where she stood under her claws the stone floor was coated by ice. His eyes widened "y-your an-" "An animus? Yeah...." She interrupted him and started to walk off. "Hey listen..if you really want to know some important things...meet me tomorrow night out at the entrance..." She said before quickly walking off and hearing the quiet sound of wingbeats he knew she had left. A tempting offer...but what could she possibly help me-THE PRINCE OF THE ICEWINGS KNOW ABOUT!? Guess I will have to see... Rain thought as he silently made his way back to his winglet's cave. He looked at the sleeping figures and laid down in the middle of the cave and closed his eyes eventually drifting off to sleep.

Reddawn_TwilightClan this is my contest entry and I hope you like honestly Abyssal can trigger others to get a bit rough..and provoke them but honestly I can imagine Rain somehow setting her off)
