UPDATE (4/19/2024) - I think this contest is still in the judging phase. If the judges are reading entire books rather than just the first five chapters (which an update in late February stated would be the case - in not just one round of judging, but two) this will be a lengthy process. As someone who thinks books should be read in their entirety, I support this decision.

UPDATE (7/13/2024) - If my 113K-word doorstopper of a novel is holding everybody's results up, I'm going to feel very, very guilty. Just saying.

Maybe I should check on the progress of the contest. I might have missed important announcements in my feed. 

UPDATE (9/12/2024) - I thought this contest that I had entered in late January? early February? had been abandoned, but apparently not. 

Hopefully, the judge who gets assigned to me isn't gremlinsbookstash, who I see is now one of the judges. I blocked her in May. (Because reasons. So many, many reasons). At the time I entered the contest, my assigned judge was Tomboywarrior53.
