Also known as "Metal Scorpion Canine",
This creature was first spotted in japan.

Kinzoku sasori no inu was given it's name from the appearance of its body. Of course, it not only looks like kind of dog, it's tail looks like a scorpions and shoots up in the way a scorpions does.

You can tell the difference between the genders by looking at the spikes on the top of the head, the 'eyes', ears, nose hole,and 'teeth'.
The males have two spikes, whereas

The female only has one, the teeth are duller, nose hole bigger, eye smaller, and ears smaller as well. And the males, obviously, are more threatening.

Scientists believe the Kinzoku sasori no inu's where created by someone or something, though these animals fit in quite well in the world.

Kinzoku sasori no inu are very well at hiding and are rarely seen by anyone. And scientists would like to keep it that way.
