After a devastating mechon attack on Colony 9 that kills his childhood friend, Shulk takes the Monado and goes on a journey to the world of Mechon. In the process he discovers hidden secrets connected to the past. The Monado is more connected to Shulk, the Mechon, their homeworld and what happened in the past more than anyone realizes.Can Shulk avenge his friend?
