Hey, here's your review. ^-^

Title:

The butterfly effect is about the unpredictability of long-term effects. If we take a look at your book, it fits perfectly. How quickly everything can change from one minute to the next. The name is therefore really well chosen. The name also appears repeatedly in the story.

Description:

The Description makes a lot of questions pop up in my head. For example: What is this? What is going on? That's really great! I right away want to read it. Since you added a conversation, I honestly want to find out who was talking, who said this and why? Really good work.

Cover:

The cover is also simple, but the colours, which you used and how you used it, just makes it look aesthetic. The font is also in the same colour-pattern and the dark background fits with the Genre.

Plot:

I have the feeling, that you made your own version of the Netflix series "Élite". The story of the series is that there are new students at a famous High School (more like boarding school). In the first season one other student called, Marina was killed and in this season, they have to find out how she was killed. She had an adoptive brother. Students being interrogated by a detective like April. In the second season, one student went missing, just like Crystal. I don't know I could be wrong and it's just an odd coincidence. I honestly only came across of it, after checking out the song, which you said you got inspired from. The song is also used in the series.

Implantation:

I like how you wrote the story as April is talking to the Detective. At the beginning of every chapter there is this small conversation, between those two, before the readers see what happened through April's eyes. Though, there is one thing I don't quite understand. When she get's the text of the unknown person, why didn't she go to the police? The person did confess being the killer. In the story, you wrote, that the police wouldn't have believed her and would've thought it's a prank, but considering the fact, that a murder happened, they would've looked at every trail they have. And they would've figured the location of the device, which was used to text April. If the person really was the Killer, they would've found him and if not, then the person playing a prank and wasting the time of the police, would have to pay fines. But just assuming, that the police wouldn't believe her was a bit questioning for me.

Writing-Skills:

Your writing skill is balanced between you taking your time to write detailed and to make sure that your story is getting further in a good speed. All in all, it's very very good.

Grammatical-Aspects:

There weren't major mistakes, just a few mistakes here and there. I would give you the advice to reread your story, once it's published fully, to find and correct your own mistakes.

Concluding:

Concluding I would like to say, that your story is very tensed written, Everyone is wondering, who the killer could've been, even while reading. I really would like to find out who the killer is, but I do have my own thoughts on who it could be but that's a secret.
