Intro- Maria finds a dark blue diary on the side of the road one day. Inspired by her mother's word to start a diary, she does. She writes every day, and every day her life seems to get harder and more difficult. Her mother dies, leaving her with her  absolutely terrible stepdad. One day she writes about killing herself. Then the book writes back. A boy writes back, telling her she is worthy and should't kill herself.
