"Give it back, you stupid thief." The outraged teenage detective shouted at the figure clad in white that stood before her.

"Your words wound me, Meitantei-chan."

"Good." She yelled, making failed attempts to grab the object the thief had stolen from her. "Now give it back or I swear I'll use the soccer belt on you!"

"Now, you wouldn't want to harm your boyfriend, would you?" He asked with a smirk.

"Give me the book back and I'll think about it." She replied, her arms now crossed in a standstill with thief.

"You'd choose Sherlock Holmes over me?" He asked with a wounded expression. Shinichi couldn't help but feel a bit bad.

"It's a limited edition." She said quietly. "But of course I'd choose you."

"Really?" He asked with a happy grin.

"Yeah." She replied, giving him a hug. "But you did go overboard with putting on you Kid suit just to steal my book."

"But you were paying more attention to it then you were me." He told her with a childish pout. She couldn't help melting into his violet eyes as she apologized. "But I forgive you my dear Meitantei-chan."

"Can I have my book back now?"

Kaito's disbelieving look was all it took to send Shinichi into a fit of giggles. She pulled him into a teasing kiss and ruffled his hair.

"Just kidding."
