Theme Song: "Innocence" - Avril Lavigne

It was the Glenn I remembered, despite his hair getting a bit longer and looking much more mature. It seemed the apocalypse had taken it's toll on sweet Glenn. Glenn pulled back and saw Maggie looking at us before clearing his throat.

"I am so glad to see you alive, Glenn Rhee." I mused and he nodded in a daze as if the feeling was mutual.

Oh, had Glenn gotten himself a girlfriend in the apocalypse? Ah, he did! I looked at Maggie, winked in a friendly way, and then looked back at Glenn.

"About time you got yourself a woman. You did good though, Glenn. Totally approve." Everyone stared at us and I heard Daryl mutter, "Damn kids..."

Rick looked at Glenn and asked in awe, "You knew her before all this?" Everyone seemed floored that was even possible. My eyes watered slightly at seeing Glenn. He brought back so many good memories.

Maggie looked a little confused and Glenn looked to the others who also looked confused. I moved to stand next to Glenn so I was looking out at everyone now instead of having my back facing them.

"Yeah, she was one of those trapeze performers. C'mon, ya'll didn't see that big billboard advertised in the city? She performed in that show right outside of Atlanta." He looked slightly upset not everyone here had heard of it and it made me chuckle. Then again, not everyone might have been from around those parts either.

Glenn looked to me and I blushed lightly at being put in the spotlight as far as my past was concerned. If no one had asked, I probably wouldn't have offered it up to anyone so soon.

Performing had been my life and because it had ended so abruptly, deep down I was still reeling from the loss of it all.

T-Dog quirked a brow, "Damn! Didn't know Glenn was a ladies man." I watched Daryl scoff, as if this notion wasn't possble and even Tyrese laughed.

I spoke up now in a rush, "No, no, it wasn't like that." Daryl nudged T-Dog, "Told ya'."

T-Dog rolled his eyes as if he had almost hoped to hear the opposite. I laughed lightly, ruffling Glenn's hair and he shoved my shoulder.

Maggie finally asked curiously, "How did ya'll actually meet?"

"Uhm, he got a black eye for me..." Glenn blushed a deep red and a few, as in T-Dog snd Daryl, started to snicker like jerks. I rolled my eyes at them, but smiled all the while.

Maggie looked to me and shook her head, "Wait, back up! Start from the beginning." It was Glenn's turn to be put in the spotlight.

"I was on a very bad blind date and I ended it pretty early. Like before dinner early." Carol chuckled lightly at this and I continued, "He accosted me outside the restaurant. The guy could not take no for an answer. Glenn just so happened to be parked outside."

Glenn laughed lightly and finished, "I saw him grab her and I got out and confronted the guy, but he socked me right in the eye." I lauged lightly, but in the moment, it had been anything but funny.

I continued where Glenn paused, "It gave me enough time to get out my pepper spray. Let's just say he ran off with double vision." I snickered to myself.

"You sprayed the crap outta the guy. I thought you were going to blind him." Glenn pointed at me as if I were guilty as charged.

I faked an innocent look and Maggie laughed, along with some of the others. "After that I walked him to the store to get ice for his eye. He said his last customer ditched on their pizza. So, there we were on a bench in downtown Atlanta eating pizza together and icing his eye."

Glenn looked to me ruefully and I smiled back. "She gave me a ticket to her first show that weekend." I nodded and then added, "And anytime he was working and I had a show he would stop by with pizza for everyone at the after parties."

I shrugged sheepishly and continued, "He was our pizza boy and we became good friends." I looked to him now and felt a rush of emotions for someone I dare say became one of my better friends in Atlanta.

I dragged my eyes across the room to everyone and caught Daryl's gaze. He was staring at me now, but I couldn't decipher his gaze. I realized he was very good at observing and not showing too much from his facial expressions. It was almost frustrating and I didn't exactly know why that it did annoy me so much.

I looked away from him and back to Glenn and Maggie. "Black eye on the first meeting sounds about right." Maggie looked to Glenn playfully and I watched as his smile lit up like fireworks when she was near him.

"You still good with knives?" Glenn asked me and I patted my sickles that were attached to my hips.

Daryl huffed lightly, "She's like a little banshee with those things." Glenn looked to Daryl and back at the sickles."Yeah, I can imagine.." Glenn mused, gulping lightly and looking a little nervous.

He was probably remembering all the knife throwing contests. Glenn had been the victim once or twice to having an apple placed on his head and me taking aim with my knives. 'Just trust me Glenn, you won't feel a thing!' I would say while the group would laugh.

The boy I had saved, Carl, walked out of a cell farther down the way and had Judith in his arms. My breath caught in my throat and Rick took Judith from Carl. He walked over to me, "This, Vicki, is my daughter Judith." I looked up to Rick, my eyes bright with emotions.

"She is beautiful.."

I looked to Judith and felt my eyes get misty. Rick looked like he wanted to ask me something. Maybe it was my reaction, but he held his tongue. I honestly could not believe they had a baby during the apocalypse. I felt terrible for his loss, but didn't say anything to ruin the good moment.

"This is Lil Ass Kicker.." A voice behind me said and I jumped lightly. Daryl lingered over my shoulder, looking at Judith with lovey-dovey eyes. This little girl was wrapped around his finger and I smirked at the gruff man's reaction to the baby.

Rick bounced her lightly and she yawned. Carl opted to take her back and put her down for a nap. However, he turned to me saying abruptly, "Thanks for helping me back at the store."

I nodded politely, "Anytime kid."

Maybe it was the happy feeling in the room, or the emotions, or maybe it was the look in my eyes, but Rick placed a hand on my shoulder.

"How about we get you somethin' stronger than water? A friend of Glenn's is a friend of ours. I trust his judgement."

Daryl looked to us both and offered, "I'll go get the whiskey." I nodded appreciatively while Glenn came up to me, "We can catch up in a bit." Carol and Maggie took me on a tour to show me where everything else was at.

As they finished the tour and headed back to my cell, Maggie offered up some fresh clothes. A pair of black cargo-style pants that resemebled my size and a simple white tank top. I took them and shed my old clothes off and put on the new ones in private.

Once done, Carol and Maggie came back in to my cell and took the old clothes from me so they could go wash them. I placed my sickles back on my hips and noticed Carol looking at them. "I just feel safer when they are close." Carol nodded and lifted her shirt to reveal the knife on her hip. "Never leave the cell without it."

I looked to it before standing up slowly. Maggie looked to me hesitantly,"Need any help?"

I shook my head, "Nah, I'm good. Just sore is all." Once I was up, Maggie looked added, "I think it'll do Glenn some good...seeing someone familiar."

I stopped momentarily while adjusting my utility belt that I wore across my waist. "I think it'll do us both some good. I feel like I was almost out there for too long by myself.." My words lingered in tbe air and I looked away from her before finishing up.

I turned to Maggie and Carol once I was done, "Now, I'm ready for that whiskey." It was the little things you had to cherish in this unpredictable life and right now I was thankful to be alive and relieved to see a familiar face. I was also ready to toss back a nice swig of fiery whiskey and get to know these people that had welcomed me into their sanctuary.
