Tucked into his blankets, Taeyong has many things in his mind. His room was dark and the only light he has was his lampshade on his bedside table. He was staring at the ceiling, thinking about someone in particular. It was something obvious and it was the prince he knew just this day.

He was bothered for no reason but Jaehyun basically lied to him for being an ordinary alpha living in their kingdom.

Taeyong stood up from his bed and grabbed his scarf. He wanted a walk, try to think about everything.

He slowly opened his bedroom door. He was so sure the alpha at the other room is asleep. The omega walked down the stairs carefully. He stood behind the door not too long and tried twisting the door knob but it was locked. Taeyong tried looking for a key but he found something else.

"Where are you going?"

"My lord..."

Doyoung furrowed his eyebrows and walked towards the frightened omega, "What are you trying to do?"

Taeyong gulped nervously and kept his head down, "I-I was trying to...I wanted to have a walk, my lord."

"Is something bothering you?"

"Nothing that serious, my lord. I just wanted to walk if I have the permission to."

Doyoung softened his features, trying to look less intimidating, "Is it about the wedding tomorrow?"

Taeyong looked away, "People do get anxious, my lord."

The alpha cupped the omega's cheek and it made Taeyong shiver. He doesn't know if Doyoung was trying to act and get Taeyong's heart but it wasn't working.

"I'll try my best to be the perfect mate and husband for you."

The next thing Doyoung did was way far from Taeyong's liking. He moved closer and started kissing the omega's neck. The alpha's hands moved to hold his shoulders, trying to be loving for Taeyong. But in reality, Taeyong was close to tears. He was trying to push the alpha but to no avail.

"M-My lord--"

"I can make you calm. Just trust me, Taeyong."

The next morning was something everyone was anticipating. It was the wedding day of their beloved Lord Kim and the omega he announced as his future mate. Back in the castle, the family Seo was busy preparing themselves for the ceremony this morning. Johnny was all dressed up with his royal attire with his family and sadly, Jaehyun doesn't want to go. Why would he?

"Jae! Get dressed, we'll be going any minute now."

Jaehyun, who was on the bed staring at the blank ceiling, looked at the prince standing on his doorway.

"Give me a good reason, the greatest reason, why I should go to that wedding?"

Johnny shrugged and looked around, trying to find an answer, "To see that Taeyong?"

"Do you want me to make a scene in there? Because I don't want to make one," Jaehyun said.

"You haven't seen him in a while."

The alpha sighed, "I was trying to forget about Taey--"

"Didn't I say not to? Jae, I want you to have a mate too."

Jaehyun sat up with his messy bed hair, "I can't if my mate is gonna get married to some guy," he said while he rolled his eyes, "I can't even do anything."

"Jae, you can do anything. You are a goddamn prince, higher than Doyoung's position. You can legally steal Taeyong."

"Do you want me to expose myself?"

Johnny sighed, "You know what, go find someone else. You could find someone as easy as when you found Taeyong on the first day you were here."

The alpha groaned and fell down on the bed again. He couldn't possibly see someone better than Taeyong. No one can change his mind. Taeyong is his mate he has been waiting for, period.

"Anyway, your choice. I just want to help," Johnny walked towards the door and held the knob, "We'll get going. See you later, Jaehyun."

Jaehyun was left alone again. The alpha sighed for the nth time. He decided to seat up and thinks about everything. Finally, he stood up to change and take his bath to go out of the castle for once again. Not to find someone else, but to see Taeyong.

The alpha walked out of the castle, telling the guards he'll return in a few. He walked to where he should be going, where he missed going to. It felt like a month not seeing the omega and it hurts Jaehyun not to see him. He wanted to know his state. Jaehyun stood on a surprisingly closed shop. He walked closer and tried seeing through the glass wall. The shop looked dirty and no one was inside. He furrowed his eyebrows.

"Yoonoh?"

The prince turned around, "Yuta."

"I haven't seen you in days," the alpha walked towards the shop's door and unlocked it. Jaehyun followed Yuta into the shop, wanted to see the inside again. It wasn't something he expected to see.

"Why did you come here? Taeyong isn't here."

"I just want to ask if he's alright. He is getting married today, am I right?"

Yuta didn't answer. He was obviously not in the mood answering an question that involved the ceremony. Jaehyun was just acting like he isn't affected but it really hurts him to say to himself that Taeyong's isn't going to be his.

"Yoonoh?"

Jaehyun snapped out, "Y-Yes?"

"I want you to get Taeyong back."
