It was the night two of Great American Bash and I was in the gorilla waiting for the winner of the winner take all match between my best friend Keith Lee and The NXT champion Adam Cole. I was supposed to make my return and I had specifically asked to not be told the finish of the match so I could be absolutely unprepared for what I was about to do. I knew in my mind that if Keith wins the match, I will just congratulate him, however, if Cole wins the match, I will totally give him a Psychopath Kick to the skull. I was watching the match and then I see Keith Lee standing tall with the gold. When I hear Alicia pronounce: here is your winner the NXT North American Champion and New NXT champion Keith Lee, I knew it was my cue. Broken Dreams started playing and the crowd were losing their mind to see me out there after approximatively five months of rehab from the injury I sustained at NXT Takeover Portland. Even though Keith acted like he was happy to see Mia, Dijak and me out there, I saw in his eyes that something was wrong. In the weeks that followed I saw Keith becoming paranoid about everybody. He even stopped spending time with Mia. The week after Great American Bash I went to Mia and talked to her.

 Daniel: Steph, something seems off between you and Keith. If you ever feel the need to talk to someone just knock on my door, or call me and I will be there for you.  

Steph( Mia): Thanks, Daniel, I'm glad I have you as a friend. Can you explain to me why we never got together? I chuckled.  

Daniel: Well, when we met you were starting to date Keith, and I didn't want to be the reason you broke up. After I said that she hugged me, and I hugged her back.

Everything seemed to be alright, but then one week later, it was Tuesday before NXT and I hear a knock on my door. When I opened the door, I saw Mia standing there and the second she entered my house, she started crying.

Daniel: Steph, what is going on, are you alright?
She then shows me the bruises on her body and on her face.

Steph: It's Keith, I confronted him about his new attitude, and he got angry. In fact, he told me that he saw us talking and hugging. He thought we were plotting behind his back, and he started beating me. When I heard that I became angry.  

Daniel: Steph listen to me you can stay here as long as you need, I swear to you that no one will ever hurt you again. You can sleep in my bed i'm gonna sleep on the couch.

Steph: Thank you Daniel, for being there for me.

The following night I knew that Keith was supposed to address the NXT Universe directly from his home, but I was not about to let that happen, of course I went to Keith's House, and I attacked him before he got the time to start talking. Regal was kind of angry.

Regal: Daniel, you better gave me a good explanation about what you just did!!! 
Daniel:  All I can say is that I'm going to give you and the NXT Universe an answer next week.

I arrived at the Performance Center with Mia and as expected our general manager William Regal came to see us.

Regal: You said you would be explaining what happened and why Mia is with you after you attacked Keith Lee. 
Daniel: You can show him Steph.

 And she did as she took of the hood down to let him see her face covered with bruises.  Regal understood immediately.

Regal: What Lee did will be punished.  
Daniel: Let me take care of that, now If you don't mind, I have to address the NXT Universe.

I then went out to the gorilla with Mia and everybody I saw while walking towards me asked me what I was doing with her. I did not really answer, I just continued walking until I reached the gorilla. Broken Dream started playing and I went to the ring with Mia by my side. 

Daniel: Do you want to know why I attacked Keith Lee?

Crowd: YES!!!, YES!!!, YES!!!

Daniel: I am not going to lie Keith was my best friend, however when he became the first ever double champion in NXT, He also became the biggest piece of shit in NXT History. Mia can you please remove your hood? 

Mia removed her hood and let the NXT universe see the bruises on her face. The crowd was in total shock.

Daniel:  KEITH, YOU WERE A BROTHER TO ME, I WOULD HAVE GONE TO WAR FOR YOU!!! YOU HAD EVERYTHING, YOU ARE A DOUBLE CHAMPION AND YOU WERE DATING THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND CARING GIRL I KNOW AND SHE LOVED YOU. EVERY GUY WOULD DREAM TO BE IN YOUR PLACE; HOWEVER, YOU BLEW IT WHEN YOU PUT YOUR HAND ON HER AND BEAT THE LIFE OUT OF HER!!! I MAY BE KNOWN AS THE KING OF NXT BUT NOW YOU HAVE AWAKENED THE PSYCHOPATH KING OF NXT AND HE WANTS BLOOD!!! YOU MAY CALL YOURSELF THE LIMITLESS, HOWEVER I AM YOUR LIMIT!!! AT NXT TAKEOVER XXX I WILL PROVE IT! WHEN I TAKE YOUR TITLES FROM YOUR DYING CORPSE, ALL THAT WAS YOURS WILL BE MINE!!! 

The crowd was chanting my name after I finished my promo. When I was about to leave the ring, Karrion Kross came down to the ring and confronted me. 

Kross: You may not know this but there is no way I’m going to let you challenge Lee, you see I won against Dominik Dijakovic tonight, so I am at the front of the line.

Daniel: If I have to beat you in order to get to Lee then so be it.

Regal came out on the ramp and started talking

Regal: Gentleman, next week there is going to be a number one contender match between Daniel Boyce and Karrion Kross, the winner will face Keith Lee for the NXT and NXT North American championship at NXT Takeover XXX. 

We all left the ring, and I went back to my house with Mia. When we arrived at my house I knew just by looking at her that she had something on her mind. 

Daniel: Steph I know when something is on your mind. What is it? 

Steph: I'm just thinking about what you said, did you mean everything you said about me in the ring when you were sending a message to Keith? 

Daniel: Steph look at me. She looked at me.
Daniel: Of course I was serious I mean everything I said about you and when I said that every guy wanted to be in Keith's place, I meant that every guy, myself included, dream to be with you. To be honest I have feelings for y... 

She did not let me finish before starting to kiss me and I kissed her back. I look at her asking myself if I was dreaming.

Daniel: Am I dreaming, Steph does this mean you have feelings for me too?  

Steph: No, you are not dreaming and yes, I have feeling for you. To be honest I had these feelings for quite a while now, but like you I never acted on them because I was with Keith.

I smiled at her and I asked her,  

Daniel: Stephanie Bell do you want to be my girlfriend? 

Steph: Daniel Robert Boyce, of course I want to be your girlfriend. However, we should not go too fast, I don't want to ruin everything between us. 

Daniel: I was thinking the same thing, this is proof we are connected. 

She smiles at me, and we kissed again.
