you see, I've been telling Jay not to murder anyone because that's actually my job

tw: death

I laughed as I stood up from the park bench, Jeremy's hand in mine. I pecked his cheek and started to lead him towards a giant oak tree. He followed me for a little then stopped in his tracks. I asked him what was up and he said he'd be right back, and that I should wait at the tree. I frowned but obeyed and sat down at the base of the tree, waiting for my love to come back.

My mind wandered as I stared at the grassy fields with blooming flowers. Those flowers were the prettiest ones I had seen in my entire life, the contrasting colours swirling together in one big abstract picture, the  light blues faded into the dark purples, reds into pastel oranges and pinks, vibrant yellows to mellow violets.

I sighed, realizing they'd be gone soon. School was starting soon, as well as fall. I picked up a crocus and ran my finger against it's soft petals. I smiled slightly. I knew the flower would be dead soon, I had better appreciate it while it lasts. My smile quickly faded away as I realized it'd been half an hour since Jeremy left. I feared the worst, whatever the worst may be, and I got up, running towards the street where he had gone.

I didn't stop to check for cars or anyone, I just ran. Then everything went black.

character POV switch, it's pretty obvious which character is which, i just don't feel the need to say which character this POV is in, and if you don't know, you'll find out soon enough.

I groaned as the sales woman took her sweet time calculating the price of the jewelry and flowers. I was about to yell when she finally finished. Either she hated me or liked me. Probably the former.

The sales woman told me the price and I then remembered I forgot my credit card at home. I grabbed the money out of my pocket and started to count what I had.

I then heard the most heartbreaking scream I've ever heard in my entire life. It was a scream of pure pain. I recognized the voice and chucked a 50 at the woman and rushed out the store.

probably not continuing this one, it's terribly written. i'll just post it because you guys deserve at least some sort of content.
