After some time they reached his office and Shivaay noticed Anika sleeping

"She is tired but I can't take her to the office like this", Shivaay thought and tucked her hair strands behind her ear which were falling on her face because of the wind. He opened her seatbelt for comfort. He looked at her face with a smile. He never thought he will be this much comfortable with someone

"You are looking so innocent", he said and caressed her cheeks softly. He is lost now in her beauty, he lost his senses when he decreased the distance between them. He kissed her forehead and was about to go back when his hand slipped due to which he fell upon Anika. He holds the door handle and headboard for support

"I'm sorry", Shivaay apologized and tried going back but space was little which caused unbalance again

"Get off me Shivaay", Anika said and helped Shivaay to go back to his place. Shivaay looked down embarrassed as he thought he will not disturb her but unfortunately, he did.

"I...I was opening your seatbelt...then...", Shivaay tried explaining but Anika stopped him and came out of the car. Shivaay looked at her shocked as he thought maybe she is angry or maybe she thought he was taking her advantage

"I was feeling suffocated there", Anika told trying hard to control her laughter. She doesn't want to hurt Shivaay by laughing as he may take it like she is making fun of his feelings. His expressions looked funny to her when Shivaay noticed Anika awake

"I thought you are angry... Did it hurt you?", he asked

"No ", Anika lied because after seeing his expressions she understood he is guilty. She know he will never hurt her intentionally so she asked him to go. Her shoulder got little hurt which she knows will vanish within seconds. She doesn't want to overreact to little pain

"Now go. If you remember your meeting", Anika changed the topic and intertwined thier fingers to distract him. Shivaay nodded and took his hand back as he don't like roaming here and there by holding someone's hand.

Shivaay meet Khanna when he reached the office and asked Anika to wait in his cabin. After 2 hours of the meeting, he came back to his cabin and found Anika resting her head on the table. After hearing his sound Anika sat straight and looked towards the door with a jerk and found Shivaay standing there with a smile.

"I'm done with the meeting. Now do you want coffee or something else?", Shivaay asked

"Tea", Anika replied. Shivaay nodded and asked someone to bring one espresso and tea for them. She was not sleeping but thinking about something

"I don't get busy intentionally Shivaay. Tell me how to manage everything?", Anika asked with tears

"Hey I didn't even say anything to you now why are you sad?", asked Shivaay to which Anika shooked her head. When she reached his cabin an hour later she got a call from Malika that her destination wedding is decided to be held a week later which means she has to leave for the selected destination. She shares a good bond with Malika but she couldn't speak of postponing again as Malika was already forced to postpone marriage because someone died in thier relatives.

She should be excited that her favourite designer will visit Malika's marriage as they are rich but she couldn't now because she doesn't want to leave Shivaay's function at any cost

"Anika ", Shivaay called and sat near her chair. Anika hummed in response

"I was not serious when I said that", Shivaay said thinking that maybe Anika took his words serious whereas the truth is the opposite. Anika was just trying to tell him indirectly that she don't have any fault.

Anika didn't reply anything just hugged him. She wiped her tears hurriedly as she just got emotional finding him happy around her. She doesn't want to ruin his happiness

"How was your meeting?", asked Anika softly

"It was good. And don't take my words seriously. I was just sad that you have time for the whole family but not me that's the reason I said that. Otherwise, I can understand that person can't leave work", Shivaay said. Anika was about to reply when they heard the knocking sound of the door. Anika separated herself from him immediately and asked him to open the door. He thought she will open the door

"If you are tired then remember even I am human. Use your legs a little", Shivaay said and opened the door

"Then you should not have locked. I also didn't right", Anika said and looked at him who took the tray of thier order and locked the door again

"I can't take chance. I don't need to show others how we live", Shivaay said and placed Tray on the table

"Like I was screaming I love... ", Anika stopped in middle realising her words.

"I mean even I was not showing that you are my husband. I let you go alone too na then why ? ", Anika asked. Shivaay gave a teasing glance to Anika before replying and sat on his bossy chair

"I don't trust your devars here they can come anytime without knocking. Moreover family members like bade papa or his close relatives visit my cabin without knocking as before I was a bachelor. Do you want anyone to see us in an awkward situation?", Shivaay asked to which Anika shooked her head

"That's why", he said and started drinking coffee

"Then behave like I am your wife, not a client", Anika said pointing towards his bossy chair, she felt like they are for a meeting when Shivaay sat on that chair

"Even you can behave like a wife. Sit here or here your wish", Shivaay teased while pointing towards his chair and lap. Anika blushed hearing his reply. She took a teacup and told him that she was joking

"But I was serious. Feel free to seduce this boss", Shivaay said and started laughing when Anika chocked tea in between after hearing his reply. Anika finished tea and placed the cup aside

"Will reply to you later", Anika said challenging him

"Waiting", Shivaay replied

"Shivaay da.. dadi asked me.. ", Anika started the conversation but Shivaay interrupted her

"What? Now she is using you right", Shivaay sighed. He understood that dadi is using Anika to make him agree to her works.

"She asked can you visit one priest and know about your future", Anika requested. Shivaay rolled his eyes at her request because he already denied dadi to visit the priest. He doesn't believe in prediction.

"I don't believe all this Anika. She knows this very well. I will not go", Shivaay said

"Please", Anika requested again as when dadi asked her, she felt bad for Dadi that she has to take her help

"Why don't you guys go if you are that eager and religious? I don't believe that someone can tell me my future. If he can ask him when I will die", Shivaay said being irked by her request

"At least watch your words Shivaay. Don't talk about death, I don't think I will be able to handle it. If you don't want to go then don't I will not force you", Anika said angrily. Shivaay walked towards her and sat beside her.

"It's life, Anika. And I don't believe them", Shivaay said and held her hands in his. Anika replied with an ok without looking at him because every time she raise her voice at him his behaviour make her regret it. That she is rude to him whereas he is not.

"Fine I will go but I don't believe in predictions", Shivaay said. Anika smiled widely and thanked him

"Thank you. Don't believe just go with her tomorrow", Anika said and kissed his hands

"Don't thank me. And Aren't you coming?", He asked raising his eyebrows

"No.. if you want then I will try", Anika said thinking that if not his function then at least she will be able to go with him

"No it's Ok Let's order something I am hungry", Shivaay said

"Order for yourself but not for me. I am not hungry", Anika replied

"But you have to eat. Take it as revenge because even I ate one meal forcefully", Shivaay said

"Wow what revenge. Anyways it's your wish", Anika chuckled hearing his childish complaint

"Here him and there Malika. I am trapped because I don't know if I can come from her destination for a day or not which is yet to decide. And I don't know if she will let me leave this project or not", Anika thought being concerned for next week. She doesn't want to tell Shivaay as if Malika agreed then she will regret that she soiled his mood.

"Dreaming about me?", Shivaay asked

"Nai don't tease me Shivaay", Anika said

"I was asking. Are these your designs?", Shivaay asked showing her a few designs which were placed on the table

"Yes I was free so thought to complete office work here", Anika replied

"These are nice", Shivaay said and placed them back on the table. He placed both of his hands on the chair's sides and kissed her forehead. Anika closed her eyes tightly when she noticed him close, she was feeling his hot breaths on her face and clutched her saree tightly.

Shivaay was again lost in her, whenever he was looking at her, he could not stop himself from going toward her. He missed talking with her And their conversation about their daily routine. He understood what his brothers felt when they used to complain to him that he don't give the time when the same thing happened to him. He could not bear her avoiding him.

Anika opened her eyes and noticed him staring at her keenly, she passed a smile towards him and looked down with a blush. Shivaay cupped her face in his hands and made her face him by using his index finger. Then he slowly moved closer to her and peeked her lips before moving back
