My name is Alice. I am an average fifteen year's old girl. I'm short, small, have short brown hair, and brown eyes pretty plain huh. I'm very shy and have little friends. I was adopted by a loving family. My best friend is my sister. I love to sing and play piano by myself in my room. Anna my sister is the only one who knew about that. Mom and dad are normally always at work so their almost never home. I like looking in magazines and wishing I was as beautiful as them. But enough about me let's get on with the story.

I woke up when my alarm went off I was excited today was my first day of high school. Anna jump up out of bed.

"Good morning Alice first day of high school. You excited?" She asked cheerfully. I opened my eyes, sat up and stretched my arms. Then I got up, walked to the bathroom, and got a shower. To wake me up. I got out dried myself off I looked in the mirror. I hated my body I still had the body of a child and Anna's body was much more developed she looked much older to. I walked out and got dressed. Afterwards I grabbed my stuff and walked out.

"Aren't you excited? By the way did you know there are beings in the school to. But their are hunters so it's safe." Anna asked. Oh did I forget to mention that humans know about the existence of beings like vampires, werewolves, and shape shifters. Although you'll never see a purebred werewolf they were hunted to extinction a long time ago now there only half breeds and their even facing extinction. But the purebred werewolves were dazzling they were the strongest and most magnificent being. Not only were they strong they were beautiful, wise, and almost impossible to kill. The hunters watch over humans and keep the beings under control. Honestly I think the hunters are more scary then the beings themselves.

"Ya of course especially since I'm going to be sixteen tomorrow." I smiled.

"So are you going to be miss lonely this year to or are you going to make some friends this year. So you don't have to hang around me all the time." She said, bluntly. She didn't like how I was always glued to her all the time in school. She told me I was annoying and that I aways scared off the boys.

"Make some friends." She said, we walked outside as we waited for the bus.

When the bus came we got on I sat down and looked out the window. I grabbed what I thought was Anna's wrist when I seen the river. I'm deathly afraid of big body's of water like pool, ponds, and rivers because when my parents were killed trying to protect me so my mother pushed me in the water and I almost drowned. The doctor said, I had forgotten everything because of the trauma I went through. But when I looked over it wasn't Anna in fact it wasn't even a human. It was a male vampire around my age. I pulled my hand away quickly.

"Sorry I thought you were my sister." I apologised.

"Its fine no need to apologise did something scare you? Sorry I only noticed cause your heart beat was beating much faster. Which only happens when your scared." He exclaimed.

"The river I almost drowned when I was younger the night my parents were killed." I replied.

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that. If there's anything I can do to help don't hesitate to ask. I'm Jason." He said, softly to comfort me. I smiled and nodded.

"Your much prettier when you smile." He whispered making me blush.

"I'm Alice." I replied, he smiled.

"Alice what a lovely name." He repeated.

Apon arriving at school we got off the bus and walked into school. It was a big red brick building. The inside was much bigger and complex. I had a hard time even finding my locker. I walked to my first class. I sat at my desk and ended up falling asleep. I opened my eyes when Anna touched my arm and there was another girl behind her I noticed right away that she was a werewolf half breed.

"Anna?" I questioned.

"Alice this is Sarah she wants to ask you something. She's a second year." Anna told me. I nodded. Sarah then sat infront of me. She leaned forward.

"I heard you were hanging out with Jackson." She whispered pointing at him.

"Ya on the bus does it really matter we were only talking, he's not my type anyways I'm into bad boys like ride or die bad boys. He doesn't exactly fit that description." I joked.

"How did I know you going to say that." Anna laughed and Sarah just stared at me like a deer in head lights.

"See told you. You've got nothing to worry about. Honestly I could see Alice going for a werewolf hybrid or a shape shifter then a vampire. No offence but she thinks vampires are lame." Anna laughed when harder.

"Well they are I'm just being honest. Now a werewolf now that's hot no offence. That's a sexy beast." I laughed, Sarah was lost in words.

"I swear you've got a fetish." Anna teased.

"And so what if I." I joked, punching her arm. When the bell rang and we went to the gym.

"You know we're swimming today." She whispered. I tensed up. She grabbed my hand. She helped me change into my bikini. Its a cute baby blue flowery bikini. I hated showing a lot of skin but Anna got it for me. After I helped her with hers it matched mine except it was purple. Then we walked out I hid behind Anna. Everyone turned their heads as soon as they seen her. People especially guys gathered around her. When someone pushed me in. I couldn't swim so I just sank. I tried to struggle but nothing worked. As soon as I ran out of air I started to panic and something in me just snapped my body started feeling very hot. When I started getting my memories back.
