The tour had come to an end. For dinner, there was an assortment of food for people to choose from. No one talked for the first few minutes since they didn't have a clue what to say. That is, until Yuri broke the silence.

"You have a nice nose," she told the boy seated next to her: Jaehyun. She gently booped his nose before continuing to reach for her water glass.

Jaehyun flinched back briefly before shyly chuckling. "Sorry, what?"

Haechan sighed sharply, letting his fork fall onto his plate from the seat across from the two. "Yuri, stop." He pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance. "You're gonna scare the poor guy."

"I was just complimenting his nose," Yuri defended. "What's so bad about that?"

"She's like... obsessed with noses," Haechan whispered to Jaehyun.

"Hey, it's not an obsession. I just know a nice nose when I see one."

"Is it like a foot fetish, but with noses?" Junhyun piped up, cracking a smile.

"Ew, no-" Yuri said as Haechan blurted, "Yes."

Because of Yuri's open and uncontrollable mouth, it was much easier for everyone to start to feel a little more comfortable. After that conversation, the table began to bring up other subjects.

"So, I noticed the gaming system in the basement," Sashimi started. "I'm up for a competition."

"You're on," Taeyong challenged. "I doubt you would be able to beat me. Right, Sicheng?" Taeyong nudged his neighbor with his elbow playfully. Sicheng only glanced up, then continued to stare at his plate.

After they had finished their food, the whole group started to filter to the basement. Sashimi, Taeyong, Haechan, and Yuri claimed the four controllers first. The others took up the second couch and a couple of chairs.

Yuri and Haechan spent the game bickering and shoving each other off the couch to get ahead, but it only pulled them into third and fourth place. Sashimi was the winner.

"I should've placed money on it," Sashimi laughed.

"I call another round," Taeyong requested. "You just got lucky. Also, can Haechan and Yuri sit out this one? It's kind of distracting when two people are fighting while you're trying to play a game." Taeyong glanced around the room, thinking of who to pull. "Sicheng!" He pulled his roommate up to the couch and handed him a controller.

"No," Sicheng simply replied in a weak tone. He shook his head, trying to hand the controller to someone else. "I-I can't play."

"You've never played a video game?"

Sicheng shook his head. "My parents didn't... didn't let me use the TV."

Everyone felt hurt for the boy who struggled to talk. His hands nervously rubbed his black jeans as he avoided eye contact. What went on in this boy's life that teared him down?

Taeyong went through the instructions for how to play the game. Sicheng listened carefully and nodded to show he understood. The other deserted controller went to Jaehyun.

The competitors tried to go easy for Sicheng's first game, but as the game continued, they had to play their hardest to keep up. Sicheng's skills were increasing quickly and moving above theirs.

"Holy shit, Sicheng," Taeyong cursed, letting an amused huff leave his mouth. He dropped the control onto his lap in defeat. Sicheng had won the game.

"Aye!" Yuta gave Sicheng a friendly slap on the shoulder. "Nice game."

"Did I w-win?" Sicheng asked, glancing at Taeyong and Yuta.

"Yes, you did w-win," Haechan mocked in a joking way, but Yuri punched him on the arm for his imitation.

"Win-win?" Sicheng repeated, not getting the fact that Haechan was copying his stutter.

"WinWin!" Jaein suddenly exclaimed, pointing in Sicheng's direction. "We can call you WinWin because you're a winner."

For the first time, everyone saw the broken boy's eyes shine with a feeling of happiness. The corners of his lips turned up slightly as an effort to smile. "I-I like it."

The group of messed up kids decided to play a couple more rounds, letting everyone take a turn. WinWin ended up winning every round that he played, his smile getting brighter each time.

WinWin had never smiled so much in his life, and he's never had such a cleared mind all his years of living. In the past, Sicheng found himself unable to concentrate because of his issues. After he was put into foster care, no one would want to keep him because the only thing they would hear coming from his room would be the soft weeping from the other side of his closed door. Even his crying was soft and barely audible. It's like if he made the slightest noise, something would come and rip him to shreds.

This night made WinWin feel more than just a waste. He could finally fit in.

As the group began to leave the basement, Junhyun ended up being the last to leave. Something white caught her eye about to slip into the crack of the couch. She quickly retrieved it out of curiosity.

It was a carefully folded piece of paper. Junhyun began to unfold it as she started for the stairs. Words were scribbled down on the page that looked like it was torn out from a notebook. The handwriting was messy like they wrote it in a hurry, but also flowed nicely in their own style of font. She began to read the words...

Junhyun studied the writing. About the topic of remembering a carefree life that was so easy to live. How those memories shape you today. Time flies so fast.

Junhyun read the lyrics over once again. Then another time. Who wrote this? she wondered, entering her room to get ready for bed.
