   "My name is Lee Junhyun...

... My parents divorced when I was five and after my mom died on my seventh birthday, I moved to Korea with my dad from Hermosillo, Mexico. This brought us here in Daegu. Now I'm seventeen years old." Junhyun looked shyly at the group and talked quite carefully. She tugged on her long sleeves a little to pull them down before continuing. "Sometimes I struggle with my Korean, so I'm sorry if I talk slowly."

"Oh, you're perfectly fine," Haeun reassured the girl. "What brought you here?"

"I really want to hear what other people are going through and help them. Maybe even helping myself by doing so."

"These two weeks will be so reviving for everyone, I promise you."

The next girl readjusted in her seat before she started. Her eyes glanced around, not sure where to look. The majority of people weren't even looking up; their focus was mainly on the ground, walls, or their own folded hands.

   "I'm Park Jiyeon...

... sixteen years old. I grew up in Hongseong and have been there my whole life. My father left after my birth, and my mom says I'm the one to be blamed. I came here to seek help and to get away for a little bit."

"You shouldn't be blamed for anything. Don't let it get to you, Jiyeon. I'm so glad you decided to join us."

Haeun looked to the next boy, who gave a cold expression. There was a thin, white line that crossed over his right cheek that indicated a life-long scar. When he spoke, it sounded weak like he couldn't talk any louder. "My name is Kim Dongyoung, but I just go by Doyoung...

... I'm eighteen years old and live in Seoul. When I was younger, I was brutally attacked by a large dog. The doctors said I was incredibly lucky to have survived due to my injuries." Doyoung rubbed the soft fabric of his sleeves, lowering his gaze to the cream colored carpet. "I still have scars all over my body from it, and have developed a fear of most animals. My parents forced me to come to this support group because I need to grow up."

"We all have fears, Doyoung. It is important to not let them get ahold of you, but we're all here to help you."

The girl next to Doyoung seemed a little distant from the group. She pulled herself out of a trance to introduce herself. "I'm Byeong Jaein. Most of the time I go by Jade...

... I'm eighteen years old and came here to study abroad. My home is in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and same with the rest of my family. Ever since I arrived to South Korea, I've been hit with a chain of unlucky events. I was cut off from my parents, lost my luggage, and ended up running around with a group of people that I really shouldn't have. I found out about this program and thought it would be good for me to attend and meet people who I can really connect with."

Jaein lowered her eyes, then focused on the girl next to her who wore an expressionless face. It seemed impossible to break. "I'm Go Shin-Hye...

... seventeen. I was born in Melbourne Australia, but moved to Incheon, South Korea with my brother after our parents divorced. He was really the only person I could talk to, and he took care of me." She didn't lock her eyes with anyone. As Shin-Hye talked, her eyes remained on the coffee table in the center of the circle. "I came to escape my past."

Haeun gave a sympathetic and understanding nod, then let a tall and gentle looking boy take the floor. "Hi, I'm Jung Yoon Oh, but I go by Jaehyun...

... I'm eighteen years old and have lived in Seoul my whole life. I never had a father figure in my life, and it kind of influenced me. I was made fun of a lot at my first school, so I ended up transferring and changed myself to fit what society looks at positively." Jaehyun bit the inside of his cheek, thinking. "I just hate hiding the truth from everyone, including myself."

After Jaehyun came a tall and skinny boy. He was the most distant and still in the group yet. He couldn't look anyone in the eyes, not even for a second. His muscles were tense under the long clothes that covered almost all of him except his face. The boy didn't speak up, even when it was his turn.

"Do you mind introducing yourself?" Haeun asked carefully and comfortingly. "Don't be nervous."

   "My name... is Dong Sicheng...

... seventeen." Sicheng paused to swallow and take his time. "I-I was born in Wenzhou, China, but moved to Busan with my parents." Everyone in the group had to lean in closer to the quiet boy to process anything he was saying since his voice was barely audible. "I never went to school, so my parents taught me at home, well... well my mom did." Sicheng eyebrows lowered from the topic. He didn't continue.

"You're okay, Sicheng," Haeun reassured. "You can tell us more whenever you're ready. Why don't we move on for now?"

"Uh, alright," the next boy spoke up. He sat straighter in his chair and cleared his throat. "Hello everyone, my name is Lee Minhyung, but I go by Mark...

... I'm seventeen and was born in Vancouver, Canada, but moved to Gimhae a few years ago. I- uh... Almost lost my older brother in a car accident." Mark slowly took in a long breath. "He can't walk, talk, or do anything on his own since the crash caused him to be paralyzed from the neck down and also gave him brain damage. I kind of lost motivation for a lot of things in my life when that happened. He was everything to me. I could only let out my pain through music, so I wrote a lot of songs about it. I didn't want to do anything to help myself since I felt almost a comfort in hiding in the dark, but my parents wanted me to join this group to get me out of my shell again."

The circle had made its way back to Haeun. She took a couple seconds to reflect on everyone's stories. "I'm proud of all of you for showing up today, even if it was against your will. For this two week program, you all will be staying in this house. There's plenty of rooms upstairs: two for the girls and two for the guys. Then there are two others downstairs for guys, and one extra for the girls. Two people in each, but one room of three. I'll let you choose your rooms. My room resides in the basement, but the other female leader will be in a room next to the girls side and the male leader will be in one near the guy's side. If you have any questions, please ask. Thank you again for joining us. We will meet back here later so you can get a tour of the place."

It took a moment for anyone to get up from where they were seated. Haechan was the first, which caused Yuri to follow. Slowly, everyone retrieved their luggage from the far wall. Girls went off to the left side of the house, while the guys went the opposite way.
