The sounds of a Pencil scribbling on a paper were heard as a Gloved hand can be seen holding the pencil while drawing in a journal. The drawing was incomplete but it depicts a snowy forest, with snow falling from the cloudy sky. "Hey, Connor."

The Journal was closed with the pencil being placed on the page of the drawing as a man can be seen wearing a Uniform, holding the Journal. The man was a caucasian male, with dark brown hair, blue eyes, and a dirty face as the man seemed to be in his early twenties. An African-American man with brown eyes and in his late twenties sat beside the kid, holding two cups of coffee as the African-American man gives them to the Man.

"Thanks, Mike." The Man, Lance Corporal Nate Connor says to Sergeant Michael 'Mike' Davidson. Both of them we're in 101st Airborne Clothing, with Connor wrapping his mouth with a scarf as he pulls it down and takes a sip of the coffee while looking up at the snowy sky. "Almost been a year since we arrived."
Mike says to Connor as Connor just nods, sipping the coffee as he looks around to see a small camp set up with a burning-out campfire in the middle of it.

As Connor finishes the cup of coffee, he places it down on a log that was made as a makeshift table as he pulls the scarf back up to his mouth. He grabs His M1 Garand, Inspecting it while also wiping the snow out of it as Mike walks to two Soldiers sharing a cigarette. "Light that out, Cortez and Jackson. We're heading out soon."

Mike says to Lance Corporal Antonio Cortez and Corporal James Jackson. "Come on sarge, just one smoke, it's already freezing in this goddamn place," Cortez says in his normal Mexican accent as Jackson Complies and places the pack of cigarettes and the lighter away.

Connor just chuckles while placing his M1 Garand on his arm. A Blonde man by the name of Lieutenant Dan gathers up the small squad as they begin walking through the snowy forests. There were two others as well, Corporal Brian Jenkins and Private First Class Norman Duke.

Connor looks around, admiring the beauty as he gets more drawing ideas. He always wanted to be an artist, he and his brother, Cpl. David Connor who was over in the Pacific with the Marines. As Connor continues their patrol.

Conner starts whistling Blood on the Risers as they walk through the snow, their boots leaving footprints behind them as Conner continues whistling. Mike motions him to stop as Conner did, as they continue their Patrol. Conner glances down at his rifle, keeping quiet as he stares into the rifle. He remembered when Pearl Harbor was bombed, only being 16 at the time. He wanted to enlist in the Marines with his Big Brother but was underage, luckily he manage to enlist in 1943 for the Army and was part of Operation Overlord, parachuting into France.

The Lieutenant quickly raises his fist, as they stop. They noticed a Nazi Halftrack crashed into a tree as they quickly shouldered their rifles. "Stay On Guard," Mike says as they slowly approached the crashed halftrack with rifles shouldered and aimed. Connor and Cortez prepare to open the back with the others aiming their rifles at the Halftruck.

"Three, two, one..." Connor quickly swings open the Halftruck's door and quickly aimed his rifle inside only for him to step back in shock and disgust. "Jesus Fuck!" Connor Says the Rest of the team is back up from the smell. Inside the Halftruck was Four bodies of Nazi Soldiers, all of them mauled to death. One of them had their face scratched, their right eyeball hanging out with his entire left side ripped open. The second one who seemed to be an Officer had his Jaw Ripped Off, and his Intestines tied to his neck. The Third One's back was ripped open, with the spine missing and scratched out organs. The last one was holding tightly to a box, his entire torso ripped open with his ribs exposed.

"Holy shit..." The Lieutenant says as the team stares in shock at the bodies. Cortez gets in the halftruck, trying to ignore the mess and bodies as he moves the bodies to notice something on their helmet. "These guys are SS Troops," Cortez says with Duke clutching his rifle with fear. "W-What did this..." Duke says as Connor also enters and grabs the box. He opens it to see a book covered in blood. "Lieutenant I found something," Connor says as he Exits the Halftrack and gives the book to the Lieutenant. The Lieutenant attempts to wipe most of the blood off before opening it, as he opens it, it was written in some odd language. "Jenkins." The Lieutenant calls for Jenkins who was a translator grabs the book and attempts to read it. "This...Doesn't make any sense, it's like a Mix Of French, German and Italian, hell I even think there's a mix of Latin." Jenkins says as Connor inspects the body who had the box. Connor continues patting down the body to find something in his pocket, Connor reaches for the pocket and pulls out a bunch of Bloody pictures of a Village. The first picture showed the Village intact with locals walking around, and the second one showed SS Troops gathering them in some pentagram.

All of a sudden the hand of the Body grabs his wrist Connor quickly Gasps In Shock as the Body's eyes open, gasping as Cortez quickly aims his Rifle at the Body. "Töte mich...Bitte...Öffne...Nicht...Das Buch....Das Buch Nicht öffnen..." The Body tells the Conner as Mike quickly notices it. "Oh, what the fuck!" Mike Quickly pulls out his sidearm and fires off two rounds to its head, The Body lets go of Conner as he quickly crawls back in shock. "What did he say?" Mike Asks Jenkins while keeping his pistol aimed at the rest of the team in shock. "...Dont open the Book."
