Later that evening, Thailog came in with Brooklyn's water, along with something to try and submit him to talking. If that didn't work, then he had even more brutal ways, which he looked forward to.

He saw the slumbering Brooklyn there in the middle of the room. Thailog took him up by his arm, lying him against the wall, and sticking the needle into Brooklyn's shoulder, extracting the serum.

While slowly waking up, Brooklyn could feel a stinging sensation in his shoulder. He gasped slightly in pain as he opened his eyes; his head feeling so sore and woozy from the serum and his vision cloudy as well.

"Good evening, Brooklyn. I wish to try and talk to you again before we do anymore tests."

Wha... what's w-ugh, wrong? I don't feel good... The second in command thought groggily, seeing Thailog's red eyes in the haze, making him panic, pressing himself against the wall.

"Don't fight against me this time, Plaything... just speak to me... and you'll be shown mercy..." Thailog purred softly, placing his hand behind the young gargoyle's head.

Brooklyn struggled against the forces of the persuasion serum and Thailog was suddenly rubbing his hand on his stomach again. "No...," he whimpered in a small, scared voice, shifting feebly in his enemy's clutches.

Thailog grabbed the back of his neck harshly, growling. "It is only a matter of time before you tell me why Goliath picked someone like you. Now speak, damn it!" he shouted. This only angered his victim, eyes glowing and glaring defiantly again.

"I-I still will never talk. This is still all wrong, Thailog!" Brooklyn grunted painfully, managing to pull himself away, the shackle squeezing his belly from his words, nearly making him throw up in front of Thailog.

Thailog next grabbed his throat, pulling Brooklyn close to his face.

"You are my little plaything, Brooklyn, so I shall keep using you for every command I give, and you will respect me, got it?" he hissed venomously. Brooklyn's body was shaking with pain, as he ended up nodding.

"Good." After that, Thailog left him be, closing the cell door sharply, making Brooklyn flinch, hiding his face in his hands, beginning to cry himself to sleep after drinking his water for comfort.

....

Brooklyn felt himself being carried by Thailog, back to the Eyrie Building. He fitfully struggled, only to feel Thailog's hand rubbing threateningly on his stomach, settling down his movements.

The whole clan heard Thailog land, coming out to see. Angela and Maggie both looked horrified at the sight of Brooklyn being held in Thailog's grasp, then put down at his feet. Brooklyn held up his head weakly.

"A-Angela, M-Maggie..." he whispered, reaching out with his hand. Thailog chuckled.

Hudson growling. "You took one of our family, Thailog! You're a monster!" he snapped.

Brooklyn whimpered as Thailog pressed the button, the shackle tightening around his stomach.

"And you call this one your future leader? Look what has become of him..." the dark gargoyle taunted, stroking Brooklyn's hair again. Brooklyn felt hot tears of shame coming, wishing to sink into the floor.

Goliath showed up as well, frowning not in anger, but disapproval. Not at Thailog, but at Brooklyn.

"G-Goliath, he kept- agh!" He cried from the shackle again, curling at his feet. "Help..." he said timidly.

Goliath shook his head, sending Brooklyn into utter hopelessness and despair, the room turning dark and cold, the disappointed and icy faces of his loved ones stinging into his heart. He covered himself, sobbing, and feeling Thailog whisper.

"Worthless, abandoned little hatchling. Never will you be the leader..."

....

He tossed, opening his eyes. "No! Uhh, no!" he screamed, seeing his old room again. Stomach gurgling, he held it, threatening to puke, which he did in the toilet again and much more bile came out of his mouth, mostly from the meager meal he had before.

When he was done, Brooklyn wiped his mouth, sitting down again, shaking. He had been a prisoner for too long.

"I wanna go home..." Brooklyn whined silently. He couldn't help it if he sounded like a hatchling now, especially from what he was being put through.
