I know I said I'll publish this earlier but couldn't made it. Sorry. I hope you like it. Oh, and this is my own idea. Events are befor the film. Have a good reading!
Branch's POV
I was walking through the village, picking sticks. Like usual. This too much said "through". Mostly "along". But nevermind. I thought it'll be a nice, quiet day but I was wrong.
I saw Poppy with she's frieds. When annoying troll is somewhere nearby me she starts to acting as loud as if she tried to make me angry. And with combination with her friends she's unbearable.
"Hi Branch!" Poppy shouted at me.
"Hi Poppy." I said grumply like always.
"What do you say about..." I guess she tried to make some tension. "Sleepover!"
Her friends groaned. I knew they doesn't want me to be at their party. I always tried to warn them but they never want to listen to me.
"No way!" I replied. "What if-" I was cut off by Creep- I mean Creek.
"Bergens come?" Purple troll said dismissive tone. Then he turned to Poppy. "I told you he'll say no." he whispered to her like he thought I didn't heard that. I just rolled my eyes.
"Okay. I'll come." I thought that this will make Creek angry so I agreed. I guess no one understood what I said 'cause after a minute I got repli.
"You really will?" Poppy looked like she was going to blew up from happiness. Then something really bad happend.
Hug time brancelets binged. Oh no. You gotta be kidding me. I thought. Poppy ran to me amd hugged me really tight.
I still couldn't belive I agreed to go at their sleepover. How I'll live this? They will hugging and dancing and... And singing. But I said I'll come so I have to.
~Time skip~
I was about to leave my bunker. I just had to check I took everything I needed to live this party.
I thought I'll be last who came at the sleepover but I was wrong. Again.
Poppy's POV
I heard knock to my door. I thought it was someone from the snackpack but I saw Branch in doors. I really didn't think he was going to come. It seemd to me he just said that to make Creek angry. And ofcourse to leave him alone.
But it looks like he was serious.
"Hi, Branch." I greeted him friendly. "I didn't thought you were serious with that sleepover."
His reply was like always not pretty nice. "I guessed that." Then he saw no one was in my pod except me. "Where is the rest?"
"If only I would know..." I said suddenly sadder. "But it's fine they'll come. They promised."
Then we saw Flyingpost's bug. It had a letter. "It's for you Princess Poppy." It explained.
"Thank you!" I replied taking the piece of paper and read it.
Hi Pops,
We know we promised to come to your party. We're sorry but we have to do some things which can't wait. We hope you'll have a great time with Branch (if you know what we mean 😏).

Branch was looking over my shoulder. I blushed slightly at their last words. Mostly 'cause I knew what they meant. I had a little crush on that gray troll.
"What they meant?" He asked me really confused. I guess he noticed my blush.
"I d-don't know! Maybe... N-nothing." I was sure he didn't bought it.
"Okay... So we'll have to be alone." He replied spreading his sleeping bag.
"It looks like..." I layed in mine one. "Sooo what we'll gonna do?" I asked because it started to be awkwardly.
"I don't know. We might watch some film?" Branch proposed sitting down on his sleeping bag.
"Yeah!" I agreed. "I think it's great idea. So what we'll gonna watch?" I added. I hoped it'll be not some horror movie. I always was scared at thoes movies.
And... After a while we decided to watch horror. We picked this movie which Branch saw earlier so he could warn me I scary moments.
"Are you sure you want to watch it?" He was asking me all the time.
I always answered "Yes" and I regreted 'cause I left almost all film. I guess I fell asleep at Branch's shoulder. I felt good with it. He was so warm and strong.
After a few minutes I felt something more. I felt his arm closing me in a tight embrace. I didn't move. I just melted into hug.
Branch's POV
Poppy started to shiver so I thought she'll be better inside a embrace. I know it sounds unbelivable but I felt good with it.
I covered her with blanket and after a while I felt sleepy. I don't even know when I drifted to dreamland.
All I could hear was rain tapping on the window of Poppy's pod.
And some thunders. Thats all. I felt Poppy shiver again. She started to cuddle in me up.
I opened my eyes slightly. I saw her terrified trying her best to fell asleep again.
"Hey what happend?" I asked her puzzled a bit.
"N-nothing. It just I'm scared of a thunder storm." She explained.
I was sure she thought I'll laugh her but I just
Poppy's POV
I couldn't belive. Instead laugh me he... He just hugged me tighter.
"You not think I'm stupid that I'm scared of some thunders?" I wasn't sure what I should think of it all. Creek would say I'm crazy or something like that. Bramch just smiled at me.
He lifted my chin forcing me to look in his icy blue eyes. "Hey. Everyone got some phobies. I am scared of birds, and what? Thunders terrifing you and thats okay for me. I'll just help you to go throught this night, okay?" He let go of my chin which I didn't wanted. He was so soft, getle and smooth. I couldn't belive he was the same gray troll I knew.
We layed in our embrace in our sleeping bags. All I wanted was to stay with him forever.
~Time skips~
I woke up next to Branch. It didn't bothere me. I felt good by his side.
He woke up minutes after me.
"Good morning Princess." he greeted me.
"Good morning Branch." I replied.
He grined widely to me. I returned the smile. "I hope you feel better then last night."
"To much better." I exclaimed giveing a peck on his cheek. Branch returned furiously blushing and smirking.
"I still don't know what Snackpack meant by 'if you know what we mean'." He changed the subject. "You're going to explain or..." He took out his fingers showing her that if she not tell him he'd tickel her.
"You don't have to." I stoped him.
I took a deep breath in. "They said that because... I had a little crush on you." I said last part on top speed. It made him laugh for some reson.
"You really did?" He asked still laughing. "Let me tell you a secret." Branch approached me. "I had a crush on you too." The gray troll whispered to my ear.
"You're serious?!" I was really suprised. I thought he didn't even like me.
"I always thought you had a crush on Creek." He leaned to me almost unnoticable.
"Creek?! He could sometimes pretty mean to me." I leaned to him too.
"I will never let him do this again." He destroyed the space between us conecting our lips
I accepted the kiss. It was the best moment in my life.
Thats all for this moment. I don't promise but maybe I'll publish next one-shot tomorrow. We'll see. I wanted also to tag some great writers:
