It was a sunny day in Pop village and today was the Science fair, Poppy wanted to show Branch around since this is his first Science fair. There were so many different experiments from volcanoes to invention's and everyone was exited.

Poppy: Yay!! Branch, I'm so happy that you wanted to come to the science fair this year.

Branch: Me too, but this is safe right?

Poppy: Of course it is and as queen, I get to decide the winner this year! Do you wanna tag along?

Branch: Sure, It'll be interesting to see what everyone comes up with.

Poppy: Great!! Let's go!

Poppy takes Branch's hand and sprints off to the first booth, there are lots of entries so Poppy will have to really think hard on who will have the best science experiment.

Poppy: Hey Meadow, what have you come up with?

Meadow: I've come up with a special dust that improves the flowers colours.

Meadow sprinkles the dust on her test flower and it it went from a plain dull red to a vibrant almost neon red.

Branch: Wow! That's really special.

Poppy : Yeah! that would look great at parties!

Meadow: Thanks! I'm glad you like it.

Branch and Poppy kept looking at all the different booths and the last one was Guy Diamond's invention, he had prepared a special glitter cream to 'glitterfy' your skin for 24 hours.

Guy: Hey Poppy, want to give my special glitter cream a go?

Poppy: Of course! I can't wait to be all glittery!!

Poppy put on the cream all over her skin and for a sec nothing happened, but then there was a glitter poof and then they were shocked at what they saw.

Poppy had shrunken down to a toddler size and wore a plain blue dress and a single flower headband.

Branch: Guy!! What did you do?!

Guy: I don't know I pre tested it and it worked just fine on me, it even brightened my ski- ohhhh... I guess it only brightens glitter troll skin only.

Branch: This is bad, what are we going to do?!

All of a sudden Poppy started crying, the noise must of been to hard on her small ears.

Branch: Poppy! Hey hey shh it's ok I'm right here.

And practically on cue, Poppy stopped crying and did the cutest smile ever.

Guy: Awww she is so cute!

Branch: Yeah she is, but we need to focus. Is their any way to reverse the affect?

Guy: Unfortunately I don't think so, I so sorry Branch, but it should wear off by tomorrow.

But then the rest of the snack pack came to check what was going on, along with the leaders.

DJ: What's going on?

Biggie: Is everything ok?

Barb: What happ-

Then they saw Poppy and even though she was cute, they were confused on why she was tiny.

Trollex: Why is Poppy so small?

Branch: She put on this cream to glitter her skin but it turned her into a kid instead, and now she is stuck like this for 24 hours.

Smidge: Wait! If Poppy is a kid, then who will run the kingdom and judge the contest?

King Peppy: I will for now, I use to be king so it should be simple enough.

Branch: Thanks King Peppy, for now I guess I'll take care of her, I am her boyfriend after all.

Satin: Good luck! Here is a book about young kids to help you out.

Chenille: It helped us when we babysat Vega.

Branch: Ok thanks everyone, I'll be in my bunker if anyone needs me.

So Branch walked to his Bunker with Poppy and went inside to take care of her.

Branch: Ok! How to take care of a toddler, I bet I could finish this book in 5 minutes...

Then Branch looked over at Poppy and could see she was pointing at her mouth, indicating that she was hungry.

Branch: I guess you need something to eat, I'll get some fruit for you.

Branch prepared some blueberries and set them in front of Poppy, but then he remembered that she was probably too young to eat it by herself so he had to feed her.

Branch: Ok Poppy, open up...

Branch held the spoon to her mouth but then she stopped it with her hand.

Poppy: Yours!

Branch: Poppy, I know you like to share but this food is for you...

Poppy: Yours!

Branch: Yours!

Poppy: Yours!

Branch didn't know it was this hard to get her to eat, but then he got an idea.

Branch: Ok I can't believe I'm doing this..

Branch: Here comes the airplane *imitating plane noise*

Then thankfully she opened her mouth and happily ate her food.

Later, Poppy was enjoying herself reading books and played with some old toys from Branch's storage box and after a long day, it was finally time for bed.

Branch: Ok Poppy, it's time for bed.

Poppy: No! Me wanna Pway!

Branch: I'll read you a story...

Poppy: Yay!

Poppy ran up to Branch and sat on his lap ready for a good story, and after they story Poppy was tired but not tired enough to sleep, so Branch had to think of something else to help her sleep, then suddenly he got an idea.

Branch: Every night I lie in bed, the brightest colours fill my head, a million dreams are keeping me awake..

Branch started rocking Poppy gently to keep her calm.

Branch: I think of what the world could be, a vision of the one I see, a million dreams is all it's gonna take...

Slowly Poppy was Closing her eyes relaxing to to the sound of the music, and his heartbeat.

Branch: A million dreams for the world we're gonna make

And Poppy was sound asleep and Branch was getting tired himself, so he fell asleep holding Poppy in his arms.

The next day Branch woke up and found that Poppy was back to normal and Poppy slowly woke up.

Poppy: hmm what happened? *tiredly*

Branch: It's a long story...

Poppy: I've got time

So Branch explained about everything that happened and they laughed of how funny the day was.

A/n Wow! This took longer than expected, but I hope the story was ok my creative juice has been a bit slow this week.
