Meanwhile, Hugo was with Lila and a doctor, who was examining Lucia. They noticed that Lucia's rash was gone, but now she couldn't wake up.

"Oh, I can't make out a heartbeat," the doctor frowned.

"This isn't good," Hugo said.

Suddenly, Raul and Roderick came in. "Here they are, Roderick," Raul declared. He turned to his son and said, "Hugo this Lucia's father, Roderick, your future father-in-law."

"Good to meet you, Mr. Roderick," Hugo smiled.

"Please, son, just call me 'Roderick'," Roderick smiled. He turned to his daughter, who was sleeping and asked, "How's my princess?"

"Not good," Lila frowned. "She just had a bath because she had a horrible rash, but now she's sick."

"Oh, dear," Roderick frowned.

"Was it something in the tub that made her this sick?" Raul asked.

"No, I put all kinds of good mint in Lucia's bath to get rid of that rash," Lila declared.

Suddenly, Brandon came in—and he was surprised to see his father. "Dad?" he gasped.

Roderick turned, happy to see his son. "Well, there's my Brandon," Roderick grinned.

"Dad!" Brandon cried, hugging his father tightly.

"Oh, how's my boy?" Roderick grinned.

"Fine, Dad," Brandon said. "Lucia and I will be even better soon."

"Speaking of Lucia, she's sick," Lila claimed.

Brandon saw the real Lucia lying in bed, not moving. This not only scared him but also confused him. "Wait a minute," he frowned. "I was just with Lucia in the hall—and she was feeling fine."

This shocked everyone very much. "Are you sure, son?" Roderick asked.

"Yes, she was perfectly healthy," Brandon declared. "She barely even looked at me."

"Something isn't right," Hugo frowned. "We'd better go and see what's going on."
