Wardrobe Malfunctions

"Its too small," I gritted out, holding up the tiny skirt and pointing at the hem that would reach the bottom of my ass if I'm lucky.

"Well we don't have anything else!" my stylist argued, a triumphant smirk on his face. I gaped at him in disbelief.

"Sir, I'm sorry but I'm not going out on stage with this tiny skirt the size of a fucking bandana on!" I yelled, waving what there was of the skirt around in anger. "I'm going to be a goddamn stage, above millions of people! Do you know what that means?" I exclaimed, feeling the heat rise in my face out of both frustration and embarrassment.

"No, but feel free to explain," he stated with a quirked eyebrow, the smirk on his face pushing my anger even more.

"Sir, this is just inappropriate!" I shouted, hand raised and ready to smack some sense into the man.

"Whoa, whoa, what's going on here?" I felt a large hand wrap around my wrist, stopped my palm from making contact with the snobbish stylist's cheeks. However, that didn't stop my knee from hitting somewhere else considerably more painful.

"I-" Before he could get a word out, the stylist doubled over in pain, hands clutching his crotch. I snorted in amusement, watching his forehead hit the ground as he fell to the floor, curling into a ball.

"Bastard," I hissed with a scowl.

"Language, Miso!"

I spun around to face the owner of the hand that was still wrapped around my wrist.

"Jin, he-"

"I saw the whole thing," Jin cut in, glaring daggers at my stylist on the floor. "But I'm not sure what we can do about your skirt situation," he sighed, running a hand through his hair.

"Can't I just borrow some clothes from some of the guys?" I pressed desperately. "Jungkook has a small waist, I'm sure some of his trousers will fit me, and if not, I can just use a belt?" I continued, nibbling on my lower lip and shooting a scathing look towards the skimpy skirt in my hands.

"What's wrong, hyung?"

I turned to Taehyung, who approached us with concern written all over his face. However, before either of us could speak a loud voice sounded through the speakers, catching everyone's attention.

"BTS, you're on in five."

I sent Jin a panicked look.

"Well you can't just go out without clothes," Jin stated bluntly, looking around the room.

"No shit," I muttered under my breath before turning to a very confused Taehyung. "Tae, do you have any spare clothes?" He didn't even get the chance to reply when Jin interrupted.

"Of course not," he stressed with a frustrated expression. Suddenly, he walked up to one of the other stylists. "Excuse me noona, do you have any spare clothes for Miso?" he inquired. She shook her head apologetically before going back to Jungkook's hair.

"You might have to just wear the skirt," Taehyung input, grimacing when I sent him a scathing glare.

"Fine," I grumbled, jogging to the changing rooms and quickly getting into my stage outfit. It consisted of an extremely cropped jumper that rested above my chest, a tight short black crop top underneath, and the scrap of fabric that was the skirt.

"BTS, you're on in ten seconds."

Now rushing, I tugged on the thigh-high boots and scurried out of the dressing room just in time to walk out of stage. We were greeted by the cheers of ARMY, immediately making a grin spread across my lips.

The lights dimmed, and the stage went black as we took our positions for the IDOL choreography. Namjoon started, quickly followed by Hobi, and then Yoongi. The first chorus went smoothly; all I had to do was limit my movements slightly- okay, not just slightly. Quite a lot.

It was around the second verse that things started to get ugly. By ugly, I mean the seam of the side of the skirt began to rip. A lot.

Clutching the back and front of the skirt together with one hand, I continued to dance, trying my best to ignore the concerned glances from the members. Unfortunately, the rip continued to climb higher until my movement were noticeably awkward and restricted. Even ARMY started to notice.

Jungkook subtly moved in front of me, and Namjoon discreetly ordered the other members to do the same. When it came to the bridge, I gave up on dance and just grinned and pretended to be having fun when, in reality, I was panicking; one wrong slip and my underwear would be revealed on live TV.

When it came to the chorus, I forced myself to attempt dancing again, but the rip clawed it's way up my thigh, higher and higher, until it needed two hands to hold together.

When we eventually reached the end of the dance, everyone completely scrapped the ending position and rushed to me. Taehyung shrugged off his jacket and gave it to me to wrap around my waist, and Jungkook used his large build to stand in front of me whilst Namjoon and Yoongi talked to the crowd, informing them of the problem and reassuring them that everything would be back to normal soon enough.

"I'm so sorry," I muttered to Jungkook's back, catching the attention of Taehyung and Jimin too.

"There's nothing to apologise for," Jin interrupted lowly, his jaw ticking in anger. "You did the right thing back there, Miso, kicking him in the-"

"Hyung, that's enough," Jungkook cut in, sounding both amused and frustrated. "Is she decent?"

"What do you mean by decent," I asked, looking down at my new makeshift skirt, constructed out of Taehyung and Jin's combined jackets. I noticed Jungkook's ears turning slightly scarlet and laughed softly.

"I-I mean, like, a-are you okay to..." He trailed off, unsure of how to word it, and I grinned.

"Yeah, I'm all good," I replied gratefully, tapping his shoulder. He turned around hesitantly, but when he saw that everything had been fixed he walked around me and engulfed me in a warm back hug.

"If you see that bastard of a stylist again, just tell me, and I'l punch the daylights out of him," Jungkook muttered to me, earning a nod of agreement from Taehyung, who stood by my side. I smiled, taking the mic out of Taehyung's hands and walking to the front of the stage where Namjoon and Yoongi were attempting to make conversation with the crowd.

"ARMY!" I called, grinning when they called "MISO" in unison; inside, I melted a little. "Please don't worry! It was just a wardrobe malfunction, but my members helped me fix it, and now I have an even prettier skirt!"

The crowd cheered, waving their ARMY bombs in the air. Hobi started a strange wiggly dance to the side, quickly followed by Jimin, making us all laugh as they lightened the mood. I continued to speak.

"So let's continue the performance and keep having fun, because you know what? I'm Fine!"

The lights dimmed once again, and we got in our positions to perform the next song; I'm Fine.

—NOTE:

Guys, I heard that Namjoon posted a message on the fan cafe asking ARMY to sing along to Trivia : Love since no one did (I think he even told ARMY that he will improve and get better, which is ridiculous) and honestly, that makes me so so sad. Please don't sleep on Namjoon, he deserves just as much love as all the other members; don't make him feel like this, cause it genuinely breaks my heart ;;
