Character Arc Summary: Anastasia Everly was born on the planet Lithios as a superhero to a superhero father named Specter, or his human name Orion Everly, and to an evil astronaut scientist named Josephine Robinson who wanted to experiment on Anastasia. Specter fought to save his child, but was ultimately foiled by Josephine, who imprisoned him on the planet Caldera. After defeating her husband, Josephine decided that she wanted to implant a bionic chip into Anastasia’s older sister Alexandra, creating a Superhero and Bionic Superhuman duo to help her take over the world. However, sixteen-year-old Alexandra panicked and flailed around, causing Josephine to unintentionally implant the chip into an eleven-year-old Anastasia instead, turning her into the world’s first Bionic Superhero Mutant Trybrid.
This abrupt accident caused Anastasia to glitch and her system became so overwhelmed that one of her abilities was triggered: the ability to warp reality. This glitch created an illusion that allowed Alexandra enough time to escape with her sister. After this incident, Alexandra used one of her mother’s technological devices to wipe Anastasia’s memory and took Anastasia under her care. Then, the sisters escaped to the planet Earth in Miami, Florida, where they blended in and lived normal lives. Alexandra, who felt responsible for her sister’s abilities, fought for and eventually obtained legal custody of her sister when she was eighteen, posing as Anastasia’s mother. This was because if Anastasia knew who her biological parents were, it would put her in more danger. In order to support her sister, Alexandra worked three jobs: a day job as a cashier at a grocery store, a night job as a waitress at a local restaurant, and a part-time job as a lifeguard at the beach during the summer.
Anastasia was shy and quiet, and did not have any friends until she met Leo Dooley in sixth grade. They quickly hit it off and became best friends. However, because their classmates pressured them to become a couple, they began a very forced relationship. This relationship ended on an awkward note after middle school ended, when Leo moved to Mission Creek, California with his mother Tasha Dooley after she married billionaire scientist Donald Davenport. When Anastasia was fifteen years old, Alexandra obtained a new job as a gym teacher assistant at Mission Creek High School in Mission Creek, California. She quit her jobs in Florida and moved to California with Anastasia, accepting the gym teacher position and obtaining a second job as a lifeguard at a beach since she had previous experience. Anastasia did not want to move, but for Alexandra’s sake, she did not complain. Anastasia was mortified to realize that Leo went to Mission Creek as well, but the awkwardness between them quickly faded as they developed a sibling-like dynamic. Through Leo, Anastasia was introduced to Leo’s stepsiblings: Adam Davenport, Bree Davenport, and Chase Davenport, who, unbeknownst to Anastasia, were genetically-engineered Bionic Superhumans. Anastasia and Chase clicked after only knowing each other for a few weeks and eventually became best friends, but it took Anastasia a longer time to warm up to Adam and Bree. Even then, she was still closest with Chase and would often tell him that he was her favorite among Leo and his three step-siblings.
Because Alexandra worked at Anastasia’s school, they would constantly butt heads because Alexandra never gave Anastasia her space. Though Anastasia and Alexandra always had issues like any family would, they eventually patched things up and their dynamic became the core dynamic of the story. However, Anastasia would sometimes grow distant from her overbearing sister, and the more that this happened, the more time that she spent with the Dooley-Davenport family. The closer that Anastasia became to the Dooley-Davenport family, the more that Chase wanted to tell her of their true family history, but he was constantly thwarted by his family and eventually decided that it was safer for her not to know. Despite the family’s best efforts to hide their bionic secret from Anastasia, she eventually figured it out on her own and did not say anything until it was brought up to her by the family. This was revealed when Leo was trapped in Donald’s new self-driving car that was set to speed to the bottom of the ocean and she found Adam, Bree, and Chase after they had just saved him. She had previously been on a date with Mission Creek’s newest student Marcus, whom she counted as her first genuine boyfriend, but was unaware of his true intentions to hurt Leo and his family. She explained to Adam, Bree, and Chase, and to Leo over an earpiece, that she knew of their secret and that it was safe with her.
Anastasia continued to date Marcus and because she trusted him so much, he was able to manipulate her into explaining some of Davenport’s technology to him. Though she did not give away the Dooley-Davenport family’s bionic secret, he was still able to formulate a plan that gave him even more of an advantage over the family and used Anastasia as a means of obtaining subtle information. Despite how much he used her, he actually cared about her and had feelings for her to an extent. He even told his creator, who was also his boss and father figure, that he wanted to invite her to dinner one night and introduce her. 
Adam, Bree, and Chase were eventually lured to a lair where Marcus was, which was owned by his creator and father figure Douglas Davenport. Douglas was the original father of Adam, Bree, and Chase and the creator of Marcus Davenport. While this was happening, Anastasia was waiting for Marcus to pick her up for a date like he promised. This “date” was a plan to distract her while he helped Douglas capture Adam, Bree, and Chase. He felt bad about ditching her and even told Douglas that he would have much preferred being on a date with Anastasia instead of helping with Douglas’s plan. Believing that Marcus stood her up, Anastasia went home sulking, only to find her house turned upside down and her sister nowhere to be found. She was able to track her sister using a device that looked like someone had left lying on the floor much too conveniently and found her sister being held hostage in a remote laboratory outside of town. Her captor was a woman who called herself Doctor Robinson, who eventually revealed herself as Josephine Robinson, Anastasia and Alexandra’s biological mother, and told Anastasia that she was the world’s first Bionic Superhero Mutant Trybrid. This revelation shook Anastasia to her core, especially since Alexandra knew about it all along. The two sisters managed to escape thanks to teamwork, but Anastasia was not ready to forgive Alexandra for keeping their family history a secret and spent most of her time with the Dooley-Davenport family. In particular, she spent most of her time with Chase, who was the only person besides her sister who knew about her abilities and family history. He helped her by training her in secret and serving as her moral support when it came to her bionics and superpowers when she had no one to help her, and came up with elaborate plans to help her hide from her mother.
When Davenport Enterprises was hacked and Donald suspected Douglas, the Dooley-Davenport family’s bionic secret was eventually revealed and became public knowledge. Adam, Bree, and Chase managed to stowaway on a cargo freighter after they escaped from the Federal Bureau of Investigations, leaving a distraught Leo, Tasha, and Donald to try to track them. After learning of the Dooley-Davenport family’s secret, Alexandra panicked and was afraid that being associated with the Dooley-Davenport family would put Anastasia at greater risk of being found out, so she forbade Anastasia from associating with them anymore, saying that it would likely blow her cover. Anastasia was extremely upset by this ruling and rebelled against it by sneaking out to help Leo, Tasha, and Donald find Adam, Bree, and Chase. They eventually tracked the siblings, but when Anastasia, Leo, and Donald arrived at the cargo freighter, they realized that Douglas disguised himself as Donald and already left with Adam, Bree, and Chase. The three siblings were trapped by Douglas but eventually escaped and made their way back home, happy to be reunited with their family and Anastasia.
This happy reunion was cut short, however, when Douglas remotely activated Adam, Bree, and Chase’s Triton Apps, taking over their bionics and forcing them to turn against their family and friend. Despite Douglas, Marcus, and their new partner Victor Krane’s best efforts to turn Adam, Bree, and Chase against their family, it did not happen. The family and their friend were brought closer together. The Dooley-Davenport family eventually encouraged Anastasia to contact Alexandra, but Anastasia said that she did not want to and refused. Alexandra eventually found Anastasia anyway and declared that she and Anastasia were to move to a different location for their safety. Anastasia was very unhappy with this decision and stormed back home in anger. There, she saw Marcus, who asked to be let in through her window, and he apologized for standing her up. They made up and became an official couple. Because she trusted him, she told him about her family (minus the bionics and superpowers). He promised to help her find a way to stay at Mission Creek, and went to Alexandra, pleading with her to let Anastasia stay. After this, Alexandra explained to Anastasia about her bionics and superpowers, telling her who she was and who her parents were (though not by name), and decided to let the rest of the Dooley-Davenport family in on the secret, only to find out that Chase already knew and had been helping. Personality and Characteristics Overview: Anastasia Everly is generally quiet and can sometimes be shy. However, she is bold despite how timid she seems and will speak her mind when she believes that she is baring witness to injustice. She is very insecure when it comes to her own personal interests and does not like to talk about herself. She thinks of herself as an observer. She would rather pay attention to the world so that she can absorb it and gain more knowledge rather than always be the one giving out the knowledge. Because she is very observant, she is able to read people and is very thoughtful when she wants to be. Her observance also makes her very clever, but can be a disservice to her because she sometimes pays too much attention to detail and is overly paranoid. Anastasia is well-rounded, but her main talents and interests revolve around the Arts. She is a mega superhero fan and her favorite superhero is Kamala Khan also known as Miss Marvel. Anastasia is a talented cartoonist and creates her own comic books, but does not publish them until after she graduates high school.
Anastasia is extremely loyal, sometimes to a fault. Though her loyalty makes her a valuable friend and teammate, it also sometimes makes her gullible, easy to manipulate, and overly passionate. Her open mind and eagerness to learn often serve her positively, but these traits also sometimes make her too idealistic and irrational. Sometimes, her head is in the clouds and she does not know how to bring herself back down until it is too late. Her insecurities also contribute to her indecisiveness, but this is balanced out by her ability to think creatively. These traits often affect her ability to use her bionics and superpowers, and when her Alpha Gene is triggered, she has a difficult time pulling herself out of it. When she is using her abilities, however, she has been trained to stay focused and since she is skilled at creating things, she can clear her mind and allow herself to do what she needs to do with her abilities depending on the situation.
When Anastasia was younger, she was more idealistic. Though she still has those same ideals, she has grown to have a broader view of life and learned to be proud of her talents.

Bionic Abilities and Superpowers
- Anastasia’s main ability is molecular manipulation, a unique ability that only she has. This gives her the ability to manipulate and control molecules. It is an ability that she was born with as a superpower. She also inherited the ability to shape-shift from her father. These abilities were amplified when she had a bionic chip implanted in her that gave her unique variations of said abilities, which include the following: molecular energy blast, temporary pain relief, pain inducement, telekinesis, and reality warping.
- As a superhero, Anastasia was born with other abilities. These abilities include basic superpowers which are thermal touch, thermonuclear body blast, proton ring generation, and the ability to fly.
- Anastasia’s mutant genetics give her unique abilities as well. She has a unique ability called empathy that enhances her overall ability to feel things, including but not limited to emotions and anything regarding the five senses. She also has an alter ego that her sister named Sparky. Sparky is the result of a rare mutant gene called the Alpha Gene that only Anastasia has. Anastasia’s Alpha Gene is triggered when she experiences an intense panic attack or feels protective. When the gene is activated, Anastasia is fully conscious but unable to control her alter ego. When the gene becomes dormant again, Anastasia remembers everything that happened when she was under its influence. The effects of the gene are similar to the effects of the Commando App, but are more permanent, visible, and difficult to manage. When Anastasia was a little girl, it was easier to manage her Alpha Gene and her sister nicknamed the alter ego Sparky because she was easy to tame like a puppy. However, this changed as Anastasia grew older and the name Sparky became progressively ridiculous as the Sparky persona became more intimidating. When Anastasia is under Sparky’s influence, her skin turns a fiery red, her voice deepens, and she becomes extremely aggressive, protective, and territorial. This gene also heightens her senses and gives her enhanced physical strength when activated. The Alpha Gene and Sparky persona are not part of an application or a technological implant, but rather, they are the results of a biological enhancement and mutation in Anastasia’s system.
