     6 years later...

Burn's tail swiped through the air, at her brother's skull. Instead of stabbing him through the head, (like they all knew she could, if she really wanted to) she merely turned her tail to the blunt side of her stinger at the last second and light tapped him on the head.
"Another win!" she called to the court yard at large. Several SandWing servants dropped what they were doing and noisily clapped their talons together. This was required, if not done this could result in severe punishment.
"Great job little sis!" Scald said, climbing to his talons and making an ironic bow. "One day, you might even be better than me."
"I already am! And I'm not little, I'm the oldest! I'm older than Blister and Burn and Smolder and I'm going to become queen!"
"Being the oldest doesn't mean you're going to become queen," Blister called from the shade of a large palm tree. She was reading a scroll and also eavesdropping on Burn's conversation. "I however, have a very high chance of becoming queen. It is obvious that while Blaze spends to much time picking out jewelry that matches her scales, and you spend to much time gathering scars, I spend my time reading a becoming wiser."
"I'm plenty wise!" Burn shouts at her sister. "Wise enough to know that I'm going to kill mother first than you!" Blister rolled her dark liquid eyes and continued to read. Burn huffed and turned her back at her sister. Honestly, she had no idea that to challenge her, Burn, was sducidal. "One day..." she growled.
"P-Princess Burn?" a timid voice asked. Burn turned and saw her best friend, Nile, quivering beside her.
"Hi Nile! How many times do I have to tell you, call me Burn!" she affectionately twisted her tail around her friend's, but carefully, as not to sting her. Nile was one of the few dragons that Burn didn't wish to kill.
     "What is it?" Burn asked.
"I found something cool. I wanted to show you." she whispered excitedly.
"Ooh! Lead the way!" Burn said, equally excited. Nile nodded and unfurled her sandy wings, and they shot quickly out of the courtyard. Nile led Burn it seemed, all the way across the desert. Or so it seemed for two young dragonets. Nile suddenly landed a particularly large sand dune. She brushed sand off with her tail and picked up a round, brown, hairy something. A coconut.
"Ooh!" Burn said again. For as long as she could remember, Burn was obsessed with finding treasures. She took the coconut from her friend.
"I know right?" Nile whispered, sharing her love for treasure hunting. "This is like, the deadest spot in the whole desert. There's no trees for miles and miles, why would there be a coconut here?"
"Maybe, a huge SandWing ate it or something, a threw the coconut over his shoulder when he was sent to kill someone!" Burn offered.
"Or maybe, it was a gift that a SandWing gave to his lover, but their love was banned so they had to hid the evidence?" Nile said. Burn laughed.
"Nile, your so silly, who would give a coconut as a gift?" Burn asked. Nile puffed out her chest indignantly.
"Plenty of dragons! Like," she paused for a moment. "RainWings." Burn laughed again, louder and longer.
"RainWings?" she finally choked out. "No way, they're too stupid to tell their lefts from their rights! And anyway, why would the coconut be here then? Why not in the rainforest."
"I don't know," Nile said, looking away from Burn. She was blushing so hard her scales could be pink. "But... where should we hide it?" she asked.
"Hmm, not in my room. Last time we hid something there, I found Blister sneaking around in there. It's like she was trying to find some secret scroll that said something like: "Fifty Ways on How to Beat Burn and Become Queen"."
"There would never be a scroll like that," Nile said suddenly. "No one can beat you." Nile didn't have to say that. It was required. Yet she said it anyways, because it showed how much their friendship meant to her. Nile always knew the right things to say, and how to fill Burn up with pride. And she did fill up with pride with Nile's words.
"Yeah." she said, "Yeah, no one can beat me! Anyway, when I'm queen, I'll have a whole tower for hiding our treasures." Burn suddenly got an idea. "Ooh, when I'm queen, you can be my co-queen!"
"Co-queen?" Nile asked. "Like, if you were sleeping in and someone had to make an important queenly decision, it'd be me?"
"Yeah! What do you think?" Burn questioned.
"Queen Burn and her Co-Queen Nile," Nile said, putting her talons in the air as if framing a picture. "Yes, I do like that!" And together, coconut and all, the two friends flew back to the castle, chattering away.
