Naina, Rajveer, and their friends enter the house rented out by Mishika's family just for them.

They reached Mussoorie about an hour back and were warmly welcomed by Mishika and her to-be husband, Nishav.

All of them were surprised to see the grand decoration for the wedding and its functions and were even more surprised when Mishika said that they would be given a single house near the venue to stay in for the duration of all the functions and the wedding.

Once inside the house, they all slump on the sofas and couches in the living room, too tired from the journey.

"This is a great place, Pooja. You did not tell us your cousin was rich," Huda says to Pooja.

"Ah, yes, both Mishika and Nishav come from wealthy families. And Mishika has always dreamed about her grand destination wedding since she was a child. So, she is fulfilling that dream now." Pooja tells Huda.

"Man, this is great. And Mishika, Nishav, and their parents must be well off to afford all this. Are all groups of guests going to get their own house to stay for the entirety of the wedding and its functions?" Yudi asks Pooja.

"Actually, no. The guests will be mixed and put in different houses and apartments. I requested Mishika to give us one house for all of us to share while we are here so that we won't be separated and can spend some time out of the wedding together. I thought it would be fun," Pooja replies, and everyone agrees. It is indeed going to be fun staying together.

After resting for a while, they all start roaming around the house, checking the rooms, trying to figure out who will stay where.

The house had five rooms--two on the first floor and three on the second floor.

Everyone decides that the boys will stay on the first floor, whereas the girls will be given the second floor.

They gave both Rajveer and Shalini single rooms as they were their teachers, and they would also feel awkward sharing a room with them.

For the remaining three rooms, Pooja, Naina, and Nysha decided to share one room, Huda and Yudi shared one room, and Aalekh and Ali shared one room.

***********

Huda and Aalekh were sitting in the living room after finishing arranging their things in their respective rooms.

"If you ask me, why don't we just share rooms with our-" Huda starts but shuts up immediately when he sees Rajveer walking towards them.

"With your what, Cadet Huda?" Rajveer asks, curious to know why the cadet stopped speaking right after he saw him.

"Nothing, Sir. Even I do not know the end of that sentence," Huda lies to Rajveer.

"Oi, blockhead, tell the truth. Tell Sir that you want to share a room with your Nysha," Aalekh says to Huda.

"What? How can you even think that, Aalekh, let alone say it?" Huda feigns innocence, and Rajveer and Aalekh shake their heads at him.

"Cadet Huda, I know we are here to enjoy, but there still are going to be some ground rules. I expect you all will not sneak out of the room at night to meet the girls," Rajveer tells the boys sternly.

"We will see if you yourself will follow this ground-rule or not," Aalekh mutters, knowing very well what has been happening between Rajveer and Naina for the past couple of days.

Since Captain Rajveer has come out of solitary confinement, he has seen a different Naina. She smiles more often nowadays and blushes whenever someone takes Rajveer Sir's name in front of her. He has also noticed her eyes twinkle whenever she sees him.

Not only that, but he has also seen Rajveer Sir frequently smile at Naina. He used to do that before too, but now that smile has something more to it.

And seeing all that, it was not hard for him to put two and two together.

Although Naina has not told him yet about her and Rajveer Sir, he knows they are now listening to their hearts and is content to see them happy.

He knows they are going to have a lot of hurdles in their way. After all, an affair between a mentor and a protégé is against KMA's rules.

But he will help them every step of the way. He will always support them and their love.

Aalekh jolts out of his thoughts when he hears Rajveer's voice.

"Did you say something, Cadet Aalekh?" Rajveer narrows his eyes at Aalekh.

"Umm, Sir, I was just saying that you have made a good ground-rule. I will tell about this to Ali and Yudi too," Aalekh lies smoothly.

He knows Rajveer Sir and Naina are still in the early phase of their relationship and may not want anyone else to know about it yet.

So, he will wait until they are comfortable enough to tell him about their relationship.

After that, he will tease Rajveer Sir as much as he wants.

***********

Naina, Pooja, and Nysha are placing the delivered food on the dining table, and all the others except Rajveer are seated in the living room, making plans to go shopping tomorrow.

Rajveer is resting in his room, extremely tired after a long journey right after his fight and injury from the previous day.

Filling the plate with food enough for her and Rajveer, Naina turns to Pooja. "I will take this for Rajveer Sir. He might be too exhausted to come here and eat with us tonight," she tells her.

"But why have you made a plate with food enough for two?" Pooja asks Naina, already knowing what her answer will be.

She has seen visible changes in Naina in the last few days. She knows something is going on between Naina and Rajveer Sir, and she will support them this time.

She had been stupid for some time when she believed in Major Bhargav's disgusting talks and accused Naina of having a relationship with her mentor. But now she understands there is no place for right and wrong where there is love.

"I will eat with Rajveer Sir. He might feel bad if he had to eat his dinner alone. After all, no one likes to eat alone. So, I will give him company," Naina replies to Pooja, wanting to spend some time with Rajveer.

She has been unable to spend even a few minutes with him alone today and wants to be with him for a while.

"Hmm, you are right, Naina. I will tell Aalekh to give Rajveer Sir company. You stay here and have dinner with us," Pooja says, but Naina shakes her head.

"No. Why will Aalekh go? I made a plate for Rajveer Sir, so I will go," she says, walking away from there quickly without giving Pooja a chance to reply.

Pooja chuckles, shaking her head at Naina's suddenly walking away from there, and hopes she will now get the happiness that she deserves.

And if Naina's happiness is with Rajveer Sir, she will support them every step of the way, no matter what.

***********

Opening the door, Naina enters Rajveer's room and sees him fast asleep on the bed.

Taking care not to make any noise, she walks toward the bed.

Once she reaches near the bed, she keeps the plate on the bedside table and sits on the edge of the bed, watching him sleep.

He looks so innocent, so peaceful sleeping that unable to control herself, Naina starts stroking his hair lovingly.

She still cannot believe that she fell in love with him. And what's more unbelievable is he also loves her back.

She sometimes wonders what he saw in her to fall in love with her.

She remembers how rudely she used to talk with him, assuming he was also in liaison with the system that declared her brother a traitor. She even shouted at him once when she thought he told Brigadier Chandok the truth about her being Naveen's sister.

But his gentleness on her never wavered. He patiently took all her anger and frustration and only offered her help and kindness in return.

These thoughts have been keeping her awake for a couple of nights now.

She wants to know why he loves her when there is nothing lovable about her.

Shaking her head at her thoughts, she leans towards him and places a kiss on his forehead.

Then, climbing down from the bed, she is about to walk away when she feels him hold her wrist.

She shrieks when he suddenly pulls her to bed and pins her under him.

"Where do you think you are going, Naina Ah... Singh?"
