SOPHIA WALKED INTO Amanda's driveway, seeing Cara inside through the window. The two friends sat in the living room, laughing like it was just going to be them for the night. Like perdition wasn't going to break loose in the matter of hours.
Like everything was perfectly fine.

She walked up to the front door and knocked, the hollow wood not making an echo from the soft hit.
The pattering of bare feet made Sophia stand up straight, making sure to make the best impression on her 'friends.'

"Hey!" Amanda greeted as she opened the door and let Sophia inside. "We were just getting the popcorn ready so we can watch Heathers."

Sophia walked inside and looked around the big house that Amanda lived in.
Jealousy.

Keep yourself under control, Sophia thought to herself.

She put on a fake smile and put her bag behind her on the couch, hearing the front door close and Amanda walk back inside.

"Hey," Cara said, looking up at Sophia for merely a second before looking back down and fiddling with her fingers. She just got this bad feeling when she was around Sophia and she didn't know why.
"Hi," Sophia responded, the same bubbly and fake happy voice correcting her normal one.

The ding of the microwave made Cara look up, only to find Amanda quickly walking to the microwave from inside the kitchen.

The movie started shortly. Popcorn was in one big bowl in front of Cara as she was in the middle.

When she watched Heather Chandler die and she couldn't but feel happy. The idea of death made others overwrought, but to Sophia, it was amazing. Provoking. It seemed like a thrill, knowing that you were the reason why someone else wasn't breathing.
Happiness. It made her happy.

The movie ended at some point; and that's when Sophia remembered what she brought with her.

"How about we play truth or dare. Spin the bottle edition too," Sophia suggested.

Cara looked unsure of why Sophia wanted to do such a thing. She looked over at Amanda, silently hoping that she would say that those type of games were childish and pick another movie to watch. But she didn't.

"Sure, I've got nothin' to lose."

Sophia smiled and grabbed an empty cold bottle from her bag and put it on the coffee table that was in front of them.

The game continued; all Cara chose was truth, while Amanda didn't give a crap and chose dare.

"Come on Cara, just one dare," Sophia urged as she looked over at her 'friend.'
"No, I'm good," she timidly said.
"Come on."
"No thank you."
"Come on-"
"No!"

Sophia looked up at Cara, feeling the hatred that filled her emerald envious heart once like it had before.

"Jeez."

Sophia spun the bottle and it landed on Amanda, the exact person she wanted to give this certain dare to.

"I dare you to kill someone in this room."

"What? No! Never!"

"The rules are that if you don't do it, the one that dared you gets to."
