THE TWO GIRLS looked over the ledge and down at the body.

"I-is she?" Amanda stuttered.
"Probably not. The drop isn't that big, she's knocked out at least."

Amanda nodded. She feared this after she was 5 when she accidentally killed a frog. She hated the feeling of that she were the reason that another person didn't breathe. That they couldn't do what every living human did.
She hated the feeling of having blood on her hands.

"We need to help her," she breathed out.
"Help? Help? She tried to kill us!"
"Yeah and if we don't put her somewhere 'safe,' she can try to kill us again. We need to move her body."

Cara nodded and slowly walked down the stairs, making sure to keep her eyes on Sophia's body. Amanda repeated Cara's steps, following suit to her friend.

"Don't let your eyes leave her."

Amanda stood next to Cara on the last step. They looked at Sophia, making sure that she was actually knocked out.

"I won't."

Sound.
No sound.
Make no sound.
Don't move.

"Swear it."

Amanda slowly walked over to Sophia and lightly kicked her arm.
No movement.
Amanda did the same thing over. Better safe than sorry, she thought.
No movement once again.

"I swear."

She sighed and turned around and went to walk back to Cara before she saw the look Cara had on her face.

"A-Amanda ..." Cara whispered as she saw Sophia's body twitching.
"Cara? What's wrong?"

Cara was speechless. No words came from her when she opened her mouth to speak. But something came over her, the anger of Sophia crashing her time with Amanda, for acting as if they were all friends, for doing all of this crazy stuff that wasn't planned.
At least it wasn't planned for them.

"Quick! Give me the hammer!"

Amanda turned around and saw Sophia's hand reaching for the hammer before she quickly snatched it. Amanda tossed it to Cara and she gripped it in her hand too hard to the point her knuckles turned white.

"You'll be dead by dawn," Sophia said as she watched Cara loom over her, the hammer in her hand.

"No, you'll be."

Cara swung the hammer down into Sophia's head, hearing a faint crack before she kept smashing, screaming for her to 'shut up' and to 'leave them alone.'

"Cara! Stop! Stop!" Amanda yelled as she watched the blood pour onto the carpeted floor.

Another white yet ruined.

She averted her eyes from the scene before she grabbed Cara's arm and pulled her away from Sophia.

The thud of the hammer falling to the floor startled Cara.

"Cara, Cara, Cara," Amanda repeated, trying to get her friends attention.

When Cara finally turned towards Amanda, tears were falling down her cheeks.

The one thing she feared the most, what Amanda feared the most.

"Holy crap, I just killed someone."
