"Hey ladies, glad you could make it," I hear Troy say as Caitlin, chris and Lauren arrive to our campsite. I see they brought some food with them.

"Whatcha got?" I ask

"Pasta salad," Lauren answers.

"Um that's my favorite. You may be my new best friend," I say getting up to hug her.

"Can't say I'm a little bit offended," Kelly says coming up to my side.

"Well, she brought me pasta salad and you brought me camping against my will," I tease her.

"Well think of it this way. If I hadn't brought you camping, you wouldn't be eating pasta salad."

"I know. I'm just teasing you. " I bring Kelly into a hug. "You know you'll always be my best friend. " she smiles at that.

"The burgers are done," Cody announces from the little George foremen grill.

"Good, because I'm starving," jake says as he heads over to Cody.

Everyone gets a burger and fills the rest of their plates with pasta salad, me especially. We sit around the campfire and are quiet as we stuff our faces.

When we finish Eating, we sit around the fire and make small chat while we listen to the radio. Ariana Grande's song ' problem' comes on. And Chris gets up. " oh this is my jam! Turn it up."

The rest of us girls get up and start to dance to it. The guys just watch us. Troy gets up and prepares a playlist to play after that. He made it music you can grind too. The twins and he get in on the dancing. Then Kelly drags jake out to dance and everyone starts grinding in each other.

I go back to the fire and sir next to Cody. "They're disgusting. Every single one of them." I shake my head disapprovingly.

"You know one of those is your best friend, right?" He answers, putting his arm around me.

"Yea, unfortunately. But she's always been a wild one." Cody laughs.

We sit there and try not to watch their gross dancing. Suddenly, the music changes and "the only exception" come on. Cody stands up and extends his hand. "May I have this dance?"

I take his hand I get up. I place one hand on his shoulder and the other on his. His one hand rests on my back. I rest my head on his shoulder and song along. "That was day that I promised I'd never sing of love if it does not exist, but darling you are the only exception. You are the only exception." Cody smiles as I sing and we finish our dance together. When it's over, he lightly kisses my cheek

Afterwards, the music switches to the twerking and grinding kind. I roll my eyes and we decide to go to bed early. We head to our tent and use the music to drone out the sound of moaning coming from one of the tents. Honestly, it's like people don't have any control for themselves any more.

I sigh. I remember when I was that way. But if I can change, so can they. It's all about what you want to enjoy. Some choose sex, some choose love. It's all about what you want the relationship to be. As I lay next to Cody, cuddling, I'm thankful that this time, I chose love.
