Vel says who was being held by Julie.

"Oh yeah! We better get going!"

Ruka added in her retort of surprise.

The three run off to get to school in time and indeed they made it on time with no seconds to spare.

They catch their breath at the shoe lockers and Julie says, "We need to start getting here early..."

"I second that!" Ruka, her partner in crime, joins in.

Vel heads to his shoe locker and puts on the indoor school shoes. Julie and Ruka follows suit.

After putting on her shoes, she looks at the stairs with bitter eyes.

I already miss having Vel carry me up the stairs...

"Julie, what's wrong?" Vel asks her worried by her sudden change of expression.
