"Calibri, wake up." A familiar voice said to her as she opened her eyes.

She opened her eyes and looked around. Sans was right there next to her, right beside her bed.

"You didn't disappear, that's wonderful!" He continued. Calibri couldn't formulate words. She got out of bed and gave Sans a hug, her eyes filled with tears.

"I'm so glad you are okay..." was all she said as the Skeleton Siblings hugged and cried.

Suddenly there was a happy knock at the door.

"SANS?! IS CALIBRI AWAKE? I MADE BREAKFAST SPAGHETTI!" Papyrus yelled through the door. Sans got out of the hug and helped me out of my cot. "Do you remember anything?"

"Yes, I remember the other human, the demon. It killed me right there. I wasn't strong enough to avenge you. It didn't even die once." Calibri said as tears started rolling down her face. Sans tried to comfort her. "Sis, you did the best you could. You will only grow stronger as resets happen. I know you will."

Calibri thought about this a bit more. She wondered about how many times Sans and Papyrus went through these resets. How many times have they fell? How many times have they got the perfect ending, then have it taken away so easily. Did they ever have a "perfect ending"? She kept all these thoughts to herself. She didn't want to plague her brothers with these questions that may never really have a answer.

After eating breakfast spaghetti and Papyrus heading out the door to see Undyne for a cooking lesson, Sans decided take his sister somewhere.

Of course, it was Grillby's, but they were sitting in a booth instead of their usual spot at the bar. Calibri wanted to know more about all of this, the resets, the knowledge, anything she can learn from her brother Sans.

"Sans, can I ask you questions?" Sans put his bottle of ketchup down on the table and nodded. He then pointed to the door. They went out the door and went back to the house. Sans guided Calibri to his room and locked it once they went inside.

"Alright, what do you want to know?" Sans said as he sat on his bed.

"Why doesn't Paps look like he doesn't remember anything?"

"So you do remember the timelines... I'm sorta glad you do. I can have someone to talk to about the timelines and resets. And to answer your question about Paps. He doesn't remember the timelines most of the time, only until I say something about it." Sans said as he looked at Calibri, his eyes looking more melancholy.

"How many resets have happened? What were they like?"

"Calibri, I've been through too many resets. Whether it's Chara controlling the human or the human with good nature, I've seen too many endings. Each ending seeming a little different. Though, if you may not see many differences from the outside. There is. Calibri, you will suffer as much as I have, except, you will have someone there with you...me."

She saw the glow of his eye, the glowing tears running down his face. It must have been common thing with skeletons, the ability to glow. Papyrus' could glow, so could Sans. So far, Calibri hasn't shown signs of being able go glow. Her eyes never glowed. Suddenly there was a ruby red glow from Calibri's eyes.

Sans seemed to calm at the new light coming from his sister. Be looked up to her and sadly smiled.

"You found your glow." Was all he said and she smiled. She was finally more like her brothers.

"Can you tell me more about Gaster?"

"Not really... it's hard to bring up those memories again. I'm sorry, but I can't. But you will find more about him in time." Sans said now looking up at the ceiling.

"We just need one good reset, with no redo, just one and we will be back on the surface." Then his silence was broken with the screaming and panic of monsters in Snowdin.

"What is happening?"

"Another reset, another Chara reset. This one is so soon. Wait... Paps... we need to check on Paps!" Sans said as he pulled Calibri out with him. He did one of his transportation shortcuts and ended up at the end of Snowdin.

"Paps? Paps? Are you out there?" He said frantically, hoping his brother was okay, but he wasn't answering Sans' call.

"Papy! Please be okay!" He said as he ran over to where Paps would have proudly stood. All was left was a red scarf...

Calibri started to cry along with Sans over the death of Papyrus. Sans took the scarf and gave it to Calibri.

"Wear it proudly like Paps did, sis."

Then a few more resets happened...

A few Chara resets, a few good resets... but it would always reset somehow, someway. Even when they got their perfect ending, they would just reset it. It was all a game to them... whoever them was at the time.

Calibri actually became a pretty good fighter. Not as great as Sans, but was getting there every reset. The brothers and herself had so many resets, they didn't remember when or why or how Calibri came. They just accepted her, and  knew she was their sister.

Calibri eventually didn't need to ask so many questions, she just became another piece of the puzzle. She became part of the skeleton siblings. She even had her own little hijinks for the human.

She started making puzzles, started to have a personality of her own every reset. She was now truly part of the inner workings of the Underground.

She finally belonged.

And now a new story begins with a fallen child, one who doesn't follow the path of Genocide, no. Not at all.

Author's Note:

Hello! It's KatarinaTheSaiyan here! I'm so glad to those have read this so far. Sorry for the slowest updates ever. I hope you are liking this story. Now I wanna just tell you some references in here and where I got them from.

The skeleton glow/Skeleton eye glow: That is actually an element I liked from the comic Handplates a Undertale fan comic written by Zarla. It's a wonderful comic and I highly recommend you to watch Starbot Dubs dub of that comic. It is so good.

Papyrus unable to recall the resets unless told about them: Well, Paps in the video game seems like he never remembers the resets or about anything deep in the inner workings of Undertale. I just added a little bit Game Theory's Theory on Gaster to give the ability for Paps to somewhat remember timelines if someone reminds him, just to give some different element to Paps.

So, I just wanted to give credit to those who deserve credit for these ideas/concepts, so I don't plagiarize.

Anyway, I hope you are enjoying this book so far. Thanks everyone!
