A/n pov

A few days had passed since that day at the Gym. During that time Weiss had begun to grow her bond with Y/n deeper. Her trust in him growing as Y/n wanted. However Something inside Y/n had begun to change as little as he knew. While Y/n slept his head filled with nightmares shaking his body around. 

His dreams filled with images of his  brothers body.  His eyes widening as he saw  a shadow wielding the very blade who killed his brother. Enraged by this he rushed at the shadowed figure swinging his own weapon. As the shadow blocked  his attack before letting out a laugh. As Y/n roared with anger he swung at them.  The shadow created a copy before the two swung at him  forcing him to block. 

Y/n: Damn you! I won't let you get away with this!!

Y/n tried to break free only to be kicked back. Crashing into a wall Y/n coughed as he held his chest with pain. Staring back at the shadow as they put a blade to his neck. The shadow began to fade away revealing a nightmarish figure gazing back at him.

As Y/n bursted  awake looking at everything around his room. Holding his head Y/n took a deep breathe as he tried to get a hold of himself. Soon after  he began to change into his school uniform.After doing it he heard a knock at his door. Turning to answer the door he was greeted by Blake who held a book in her hand.

Y/n: Hey Blake what's up?

Blake: I uh just wanted to check on you. Classes are going to start soon so I wanted to know if you wanted to walk with me...maybe.

Y/n:(mind) Just calm down everything is gonna be ok.  You're in control.*To Blake* Well if your gonna pull my leg then  why not.

 Walking out with her Y/n closed his door and left. While they were on their way the  2 ran into Pyrrha who waved.

Pyrrha: Hello!~ I see you two arrived  early too.

Y/n: Yeah seems like it. You seem like a real early bird Pyrrha. Then again from what I hear it should be expected. You were pretty famous until this..I must say;I look forward to seeing you in combat little miss Spartan.

Pyrrha; Well  I'm flattered  but in all honesty  it means little to me. When we are here  I'm just another student like you or the others.

Y/n; (mind) Well she sure has alot of humility.  An honorable warrior  like her would be quite the challenge. Even so it's not like it's something I can't handle.

(With Ozpin)

Glynda entered the room checking results of training classes from the previous day.

Glynda: Sir I've been checking  over the footage once again. Y/n seems to have quite the skill. As expected from one capable of fighting Team CVFY as he did.

Ozpin: As I expected..go on.

Glynda: So far I've gathered he does very well on his own but we have yet to try and gauge his ability to lead a team.

Ozpin: Then perhaps today is time for a change of lesson.

Glynda: What did you have in mind sir?

Ozpin: Today have the students   perform team training out in the Emerald forest.

Glynda: Sir I must ask..why do you seek to continue this? If you know something with Y/n is amiss...why do you allow him to continue?

Ozpin: Y/n isn't as he seems Glynda...I can see it..the boy's world view is corrupted..titled. I hope to allow him to clear his mind one day.

Glynda: Sir... his powers are a threat i'm sure your aware of that-

Ozpin: Yes I am and yet exactly what are his limits?.The day he fought  miss Schnee something inside him was very much different..Now he's seemingly back to his average self. Quite odd isn't it?

Glynda: You believe there is something there?

Ozpin: I do...and only time will tell if i'm right.

After  She left soon enough Ozpin continued to drink his coffee  staring out the window. 

(Back with Y/n)

As he sat down in Professor Ports class Y/n  secretly read a book given to him by Blake as Port had fallen into a rant. As  he did Ruby leaned her head back sighing.

Ruby: He's soo borring. 

Y/n: Tell me about it it seems like every Tuesday with him.

Ruby: I know right?

Weiss: For once I agree but it's part of class what can we do?

Yang: We can always just act like we are paying attention. Isn't that right Jaune?

Yang grinned staring at Jaune who jumped then rubbed his head nervously looking at her.

Jaune: S-Sorry couldn't help it...ahah.

Nora; Hey guys why don't we head down to a pancake shop after all this?

Ren: That sounds pretty good.

Ruby:I'd kill for some right about now,

Yang/Y/n: Saamee

Blake: Why not.

Y/n: I guess I can cover for you guys today if ya want. I recently got a good amount of Lien from stopping a crime 2 days ago.

Nora: Really? Your such a pal Y/n!

Y/n: Yeah yeah I know just try to keep it down or Port will hear ya.

After the class ended Y/n walked through the halls with the others. While he did he turned to see Cardin and his team standing in the hall near a smaller student. Walking over Y/n whistled to him then spoke.

Y/n: Well look at this you idiots still up to this?

Cardin: It's you!

Y/n: Yeah I'd sure you'd remember the guy whose shoe met your face 5 times in the short time i've been here.

Cardin: Back off this has nothing to do with you.

Y/n: Oh yeah is that right?

Dove; Dude seriously piss off!

Sky: Yeah!

Russel: We got no beef with you today!

Y/n: And what makes you think that?

Small Student: I-I think I will leave for now.

Cardin: No hey get back here!

When the kid was walking away Cardin growled at Y/n who stared at them.

Y/n; You wanna throw down again? Trust me it won't end well for you.

Cardin's team were about to try and fight Y/n before;Cardin spoke words that threw Y/n and the others off guard.

Cardin: Leave them alone we'll find another kid to help out for now..

Y/n/others: HUUUUHHH?!

Cardin;What? Are you losers that shocked? I've gotten my ass kicked to Kingdom come why the hell would i keep risking it? You idiots we're out of here.

As Cardin and his team walked off Y/n and everyone else stared in a mix of Shock,surprise,and confusion.

Y/n:..Uncanny.

Ruby: I can't believe this is really happening.

Nora: Ren i'm not dreaming right?

Ren: I hope not.

Jaune/Yang:Wow...you really beat them into Kindness Y/n.

Blake: I gotta say i'm actually kinda impressed you managed to get them to have a heel turn  like that.

Y/n:Whatever I'm just gonna hope they learned their lessons already.

Weiss: We should get on our way before our next class starts.

Y/n: Oh crap yeah I forgot. We got a substitute today don't we?

Pyrrha: Correct all we know is that he should be wearing a flannel shirt and has a beard.

Yang; Oh great is he some lumberjack looking guy?

Ruby: I heard he's scrawny.

Y/n: Oh great Like a guy like that isn't gonna be a pain.

Blake; Isn't it a literature class?

Y/n: Who cares honestly. Let's just get it over with. Personally i'm looking forward to lunch today i'm starving.

Going through the day as usual before they knew it they were brought outside by miss Goodwitch who spoke with her usual tone.

Glynda: Alright everyone today as you can see Class will be different today. For those of you who were here before this should be all too familiar. Emerald forest was where most of you had your initiations into Beacon the very school you stay in. In the forest as you all know lies Grimm of all variety. 

Y/n:(mind) So these are the  grounds Teams RWBY,JNPR,and CVFY were born from huh?

Glynda: Here you will once again your might will be challenged. As today you all will be forced to work with others to  fight your way through the woods and retrieve yet another relic to and try return in order to pass.  

Jaune: W-Wait does that mean it's gonna be the same as last time?

Glynda: Yes Mr. Arc it will.

Just as she said that he was launched off a pad and into the wood.

Jaune: NOT AGAIN WHYYYYY!!!!!!

Y/n:(mind) Damn..poor guy..

Glynda: I look forward to see what you all are capable of.

Y/n: (mind)Alright...lets go.
