Adrien's POV:

Despite how nice my father was to Emma, I still had my doubts about how he felt about her. Whenever she was around someone, me in particular, he would ask her if she needed anything. It happened so often I thought for a moment she might have replaced my father with someone else! 

Emma chose to walk to school, along with Charlotte and Louis but Nathalie and the gorrilla made sure I was still escorted in my limo. I arrived a lot earlier than they did because we had set off at the same time and I was travelling in a car. I decided that it would be best to let everyone know that Emma and her siblings were coming.

 When I entered the classroom  everyone was here; everyone but marinette at least. As the majority of my friends were already sat down, I decided to make announcement. "Hi everyone, my friends Emma and Louis are gonna be here soon," I saw alya's eyes widen. Oh crap, Louis....her video. "they're kind of new so....I thought I should mention it but now as I'm standing up here I realise I might not have needed to." I let out an awkward sigh and went back to my seat just as Emma and Louis walked through the door. 

Miss. Bustier chimed in, "You must be Emma and Louis, Adrien was just telling us about you. He said you're friends?"

"Yes, we're friends. I guess..." Emma responded nervously. 

"Is there anything I should know about, allergies, hearing or seeing problems. If so just let me know, you could take a seat next to Lila if you do, she can help you if you need anything." 

Emma smile faded at the mention of lila's name. Does she know lila's a liar. How can she know that!? "Uh...no, no, not yet... well maybe, my dad wore glasses because his eyesight got worse as he got older so I might need them too." 

Alya perked up from behind me "you referred to your dad in the past tense, is his eyesight better now?"

I froze, how was Emma suppose to respond to that. 'Yeah... My father might be dead now so...'. Nonetheless, she took alya's question rather well. "That's....um... well, he might be kinda dead or not," she rushed to reassure everyone, "but until we know for sure, I'm staying with Adrien. I don't know if he told you that but that's what's going on." 

She got a mix of looks from my classmates, Alya looked guilty that she had brought it up but everyone else looked sorry for her. "I'm so sorry I asked Emma. Are you ok?" Alya tried to be kind. 

"No, don't worry about it." She waved everyone off, "I'll just take my seat now." She smiled and headed up the parting in the desks to the back row. Louis followed. He sat next to Nathaniel whereas Emma sat next to Lila. 

Emma's POV: 

I wasn't going to put up with Lila for a single second. I wanted her to know right away that I wasn't taking her shit. "Hey Emma, I'm Lila. I actually used to have a hearing disability but it got better. Also, I'm sorry about your dad, my dad's been away of a cruise ship for quite a few months now so I know it can be lonely. If you need anything just as—,"

"Sorry, I don't ask liars for help." I said sternly and without breaking eye contact from the board. 

"Liar! I'm not a liar, I'm sorry if I came across that way!" She put in an act of being hurt and apologetic. 

"I know you get akumatized on purpose, I know all about you marinette hate plans to try and get her to suffer." I looked her dead in the eye and she looked somewhat scared of me "you can do whatever you want to anyone else but you leave me and my brother alone." I spoke threateningly and she was definitely shocked by my knowledge.

"Be careful Emma, I'm liked more than you so far, you go against me or get in my way and you will regret it." Her voice changed into a sweet tone, like what she had done to start with, "I'll say I'm willing to start our relationship again, this time say the right thing." 

"Hi, I'm Emma. It's nice to meet you liar." 

"You're going to regret that Emma."

"Make me."
