Nikki watched as a group of teenagers walked by, heading towards the skate ramps. She tapped her foot impatiently, waiting for someone to arrive.

Soon enough, they did.

She felt her breath catch in her throat as Ered came in, laughing and talking with her rich friends. The girl couldn't help but watch her as she passed.

The blonde caught sight of her and waved. Nikki tensed up for a second, then waved back sheepishly. The other flashed her a smile and climbed on top of the ramp.

She watched the rebellious teen ride down the ramp and a dreamy sigh escaped her lips. Truth be told, she had a crush on the older girl. It started out as a mere admiration for her, but soon grew into something more. She watched her crush do a few more tricks, her thoughts wandering.

"Hey, Nik!"

The voice snapped her out if her thoughts. She saw Ered waving her over and stood up. Trying to ignore the pounding of her heart, she walked over. "Yeah? What's up?"

"Wanna try a few tricks yourself?" she asked, holding out a helmet. Nikki hesitated for a bit. Cautiously, she grabbed a hold of it. "S... Sure. I mean, totally. Why wouldn't I?"

The taller girl laughed and shook her head. "You don't have to try so hard, y'know. I think you're cool enough already."

She prayed that the blush on her face wasn't obvious. "R... Really?"

"Hell yeah," she answered, kicking her skateboard into a standing position. "Now, you ready to test this bad boy out?"

Nikki nodded eagerly, putting on the helmet. Ered led her to the top of the ramp and sat down at the edge. She placed the skateboard down and motioned for her to go.

Taking a deep breath, the adventurous girl stood on the skateboard and rode down it. She heard her crush cheering for her as she went, wind whipping her hair around. There weren't any real tricks involved, just her going up and down a few ramps.

She finally camp to a stopping point and heard cheering and clapping from behind her. A grin spread across her face as she watched Ered approach her.

"That was awesome, dudette!" she praised, throwing an arm around Nikki's shoulders. The younger felt her face grow hot and tried not to stutter. "Thanks, Ered..."

The skater let go of her and gave her a finger gun. "Meet me here tomorrow? Same time?"

There was a brief pause before she answered. "Uh, yeah! Tomorrow! That works."

Ered chuckled quietly, noticing how flustered Nikki was. "Alright, then I'll see you tomorrow..." She gave the girl a wink. "Babe."

Nikki swore her heart exploded in her chest. Trying to keep her cool, she smiled and waved. She watched Ered go, her face growing redder by the second. Once she figured her crush was far enough away, she squealed.

Ered heard the girl squealing and snickered to herself. "Gullible cutie..."
