Alexia smiled as Jenna, Bobby and David gathered around the growing campfire. It was the first campfire of the summer for Alexia. She was hosting the campfire. Bobby and David sat across from Jenna and Alexia.

"So? How's your summer so far?" Asked Jenna awkwardly. Everyone mumbled a good and nodded their heads.

"I have to go to the bathroom. I'll be right back." Announced Jenna.

          "You know where it is?" Questioned Alexia.

            "I'll find it." Jenna answered as she walked towards Alexia's house.

             Once Jenna was out of sight, Bobby asked, "When are we going to eat?"

              "Dude, you only think about food." David joked.

               "Do not."

                  "Do too. What else do you think about?" David teased.

                  "Stuff." Bobby answered stupidity.

                   Alexia rolled her eyes. "We are not eating without Jenna. Maybe we can tell scary stories."

                 "I'm not sure. Scary stories aren't my thing." David complained.

                   "Scared?" Alexia beamed.

                "No, I just think we should wait for Jenna." Bobby blurted.

                "Jenna hates scary stories. Please? I have a good one." Alexia begged.

               "Fine." David said.

"Okay." Alexia sighed. "In a house just like mine......"

In a house just like mine, there was a little girl. She was maybe five? Six? When it began. Sssshhhhh. Be quiet, I'll explain everything. Well, almost everything.

She just moved into the house with her mother after her father died. Sshhh, I'll answer that too. Okay, she of course had some problems since she's six and her father just died. Of course nothing like this.

She kept on seeing this man everywhere. In doorways, on the side of the road and other random places. He was always there. When she would point him out, no one would see him. Just her. Soon she just stopped telling people about the man. About six or seven years she continued to see this man, but less every year.

            By the seventh year, she told her best friend about the man. Of course, the friend spread rumors about her. Told everyone about the man. She was getting bullied and depressed about this man. She had theses thoughts about killing herself.

              One day, she decided that she was going to do it. She had the rope and the spot picked out. But the man stopped her. She still could not see his features.

             He said to her, "stop. I could not stop your father, but I can stop you. Please. Think of your mother and school."

              She yelled back, "I am thinking of school. All of the words.... All because of you!"

              The man was calm. He told her, "you need someone to blame, I understand. Something great will happen to you if you don't kill yourself. Please. "

                The man was right she moved away and all the rumors stayed in the old town.

           "That was a nice story."David finally said.

            Jenna came running back. "What did I miss?" Jenna asked.

             "Just a silly ghost story. Nobody even got killed!" Bobby whined.

                "Hey!" Alexia boomed. "No it wasn't that bad. Was it?"
